" Not easy to notice because located inside an alley. Free wifi. Clean restroom. One of the most famous Gudeg restaurant in Yogyakarta. This place is located in an alley beside the Kaliurang street. You can choose to eat by using hand or spoon. The interior design is dominated by wood, as well as the chair and table they used. As the name is Gudeg Yu Djum, they only serve Gudeg (Yogyakarta's traditional food which has a sweet taste). As this is a main course and has a big portion, it's better to come when you're really hungry or at lunch time. "

" Actually i dont really like gudeg because the ingrediants too simple and the taste is so flat. I cant feel anything when i bite it. So poor gudeg. I think i wont eat gudeg again for a long time ahead. "

" They said that this is a popular traditional restaurant in Jogja who serve Gudeg as its speciality. But I dont think so. The rice and the seasoned egg (telur pindang) were in hard texture. The taste of gudeg just very sweet and I don't like it so much. All I could eat was the chicken that cooked in pindang seasoning. "
