" The best location in downtown area, can walk to Clarke Quay, Esplanade Theatre, Merlion. I've got the room with best view where I can see MarinaBaySands and Singapore Flyer. (Should stay there at New year night to see fireworks). The staffs are friendly and helpful. There has a Sky bar at level 22 where you can enjoy the view and drink quietly. "

" Stayed 3D2N and so far we had a pleasant stay. There were some disappointments here and there like the door were force open before, loose screws on the bathroom mini table, but the thing i most pissed is that there were no bathtub in our room, and they stated there were tub in EVERY room. Overall, the view were nice at least, and the staff were quite friendly. "

" Had a pleasant stay here. As far as location is concerned, this hotel is a convenient option for travellers looking to visit Singapore for shopping as it is quite close to the shopping district. There are also many food options nearby at the Raffles City Mall ranging from local delicacies to pubs. In terms of the rooms, the size is satisfactory enough to be comfortable but nothing really noteworthy. The workers here were extra friendly and won't hesitate to offer their help. Hope to stay here again! "

" The room was beautiful and the south side had an incredible view over the marina. The staff were very welcoming and friendly too. The hotel has two pools which were also very nice though there is a lack of loungers. The gym is also a bit sparse in terms of equipment. The breakfast was included with out room though not for all rooms I don't think. The breakfast was a buffet and was okay. There is a wide variety though. "

We got the cheapest rooms possible and they're fairly clean but don't expect it to be perfect. Beds are too stiff for our liking but you can't please everyone. "

" Spent 10 days at this hotel, very convenient location, friendly staff. Generally it was a lovely experience, The breakfast experience however could be better. Long queues before seating is offered. Menu is monotonous , no variety, and I had an ugly incident of finding 2 strands of hair in my omelette. The stewardess, I complained to just took the plate away, no feedback, no apology Absolute NOTHING... that experience marred my otherwise pleasant stay... "

" We stayed 4 nights in early August 2017. The hotel is perfectly positioned for sightseeing. Just walk across the street to catch the hop-on bus. The rooms are basic but clean. The only criticism would be the amount of mould in the shower recess.
The lounge captain, Best Low, was a welcome sight when we returned from our daily sightseeing. He enjoyed engaging in conversation and remembered what we liked to drink.
A perfect few days in Singapore. I'd go back to this hotel again. "

" This hotel is in a good location but the rooms are old and worn, the service is not good, and the lifts are terrible. The price was good for Singapore but still not worth it. I will pay a bit more next time for somewhere nicer. The hotel is surrounded by a construction site and all day the noise is terrible. The lobby stinks of cigarette smoke. I wont be going back. "

" Lovely experience here at Peninsula Excelsior, stayed 2 nights in a twin room with my daughter, the two pools were lovely, great to relax by or cool off from the Singapore heat. We had cocktails and finger food platter in the lounge, which were delicious and reasonably priced. Our room was great, with views from the 13th floor, comfy beds, nice amenities and perfect temp control on cooling. We also had a late night snack from room service of a toasted sandwich and thick fries which were delicious. Overall was a great experience, highly recommend. "

every time i come here (unfortunately company policy) the situation is worst and worse. cleanines of rooms is a dream, bathroom have prehistoric signs of life.

quality of breakfast is one of the worst i have found around the asia, and the issue is that every time situation is worst.

even if cheap, is overpriced.

" Liked this hotel but lacking some customer service aspects that should be carried out. Breakfast was good but they started shutting down the buffet at 1015 am. If the buffet is open until 1030am, then nothing should be shutting down prior to that. Maid staff was very loud in the hallway as well. The room was comfortable albeit a bit small. Overall, a nice experience but I wouldnt seek out this hotel again. "

" Not as wonderful as expected given reviews and pictures and number of stars. Two outside pools at the lobby level. The furniture, curtains, mirrors, objects inside the room are clean but ageing. You have a wired and a Wi-Fi Internet access, quite stable. I booked a king size bed room, and I got a twin bed that were stuck together. I had a bath tub, and a plastic curtain to control water splashes when taking a shower. The check-in staff's voice was so low that I had to force him shout four times every sentence to get a chance to hear him. The check-in process itself lasted about 20 minutes despite the room being already fully paid by Internet and my valid visa bank card working perfectly for the security deposit. Complementary water is bottled on the first night, refilled with tap water later on. I had a nice view on Fort canning park. The hotel is made of two towers, therefore two entrances. There's a sex shop right between them. 24/7 convenience shops one minute walking away and a cheap food court just down the building. You can walk to the bay (merlion) in about 15 minutes. "
