" Basically good place to rest. They provide taxi call service as well. There are room with connecting door. Need to walk few meters to reach main road. There are food store nearby (indian, chineese, indonesian, etc) be aware for halal & non-halal food. Just try go outside at midnight from this place, you'll find kinda place with a lot of shirtless girl nearby "

" First of all, I would like to comment about the hotel staff. I went to hotel 81 princess at geylang lorong 12 at about 9+ at night on 18/02/2018. The staff there greets me without a smile which they are suppose to do that. Given that, do you think I would be happy staying? What type of attitude is this.
19 February 2018Secondly, the toilet was small and the toilet paper was use by napkin. Which was suppose to be toilet paper. And the soap did not refill.
Thirdly, when I book the hotel, I book for one single big bed. But what I discover was the room I'm in(06-12),was 2 single bed combine to become a big single bed. This is scam! I went to sooo manyyy hotel in Singapore and around geylang, their single big bad is really a big bed. Not a combination of 2 single bed!
THIS WILL BE MY ONE AND ONLY TIME GOING TO HOTEL 81!!! "

" The hotel isn't bad, I could have gave it a 5 star but sadly I wasn't satisfied with the hotel. Firstly, there are no socket to charge beside the bed. The socket to charge my phone was so far! Secondly, the toilet have a bathtub, but sadly the bathtub take forever to be full and its so small. The toilet bowl have no pipe for muslim to wash. Take note muslim. Thirdly, we can't smoke in the room, take note smokers, this is a no smoking hotel. Fourth, the place too eat is quite far.. thats all i guess. "

" Booked for my relatives SG Trip. Went there and pick them up daily. Nicer environment area than nearby surroundings. Room & Deco are ok. Hire fee (for a week for 2 room (2-bed Room) is a good deal.

" Cheap hotel in the red light district. My main complaint was AC blew only very cold air and putting it on low or med setting seemed to not work but only the high setting worked which made the room too cold. Akso no shower curtain meant you had to shower carefully or it would make the entire restroom wet. "

" This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was so musty and malodorous we could hardly sleep. The moment we walked in to the room we were bombarded with the smell of mold and mildew. We went straight for the windows to air out the room, and found to our chagrin, the windows don't operate. As we arrived after midnight, we tried our best to overcome the stench. We cranked up the AC to max, and tried to sleep. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, but surprisingly clean. We woke the following morning to other guests going about their business, there wasn't much in the way of sound dampening in the room, though not the loudest room I've ever been in. We started searching on their terribly slow Wi-Fi for another hotel, and decided to get ready. Getting up we go to the shower to find no shower curtain. Upon asking the front desk for a curtain, we were informed that they don't supply them. Irritable from a restless sleep, and the horrendous smell still assaulting us, we decided to take a shower without. The hot water lasted only briefly, which in an open shower, with the AC on high, meant no fooling around. Wash up and jump out. Many things were in a state of disrepair, the bedroom light was falling out of the ceiling, the bathroom ceiling was cracking, mold was everywhere, the tub had holes in it, and the air filter looked like it had never been changed the entire time the facility has been operational. The only saving grace to this room, was the relatively cheap price at $30/night - but I feel it should have been half that for the condition of it. "
