" Hotel location is great. Less than 10 mins walk to shopping, Jonker night market and river. Room is big and clean. Hotels staff are very friendly and helpful. They attended to us very quickly for any assistance. When my son handphone fell through the lift gap onto the ground floor, the hotel staff immediately attended to us and get help from the lift maintenance. Would love to stay in this hotel for our next trip. "

" The building is beautiful and rooms are big. The staff is not very professional. We booked this hotel because they have a jacuzzi on the roof and we have a child, so we taught it would have been a good idea to stay there, just in the centre of Melaka and few steps from Chinatown and museums area. I insisted over the phone about the jacuzzi (Melaka is very hot!) and they told me that they have a jacuzzi and we could use it for free, etc, but when we arrived the pool was empty. So we asked why and they didn't know what to say... after 10 minutes they told us they have to clean it and it will be ready for the next day in the afternoon. My friend argued with the lady at the reception and at the end they gave us a 10% discount. Not very nice at all. The next day, in the afternoon, we could have a bath there.
15 July 2010At the ground floor there is a quite good Italian restaurant, Bamboo Hut Bistro, but a bit overpriced. Staff is friendly and professional.
