" I would recommend this place for family with kids. Their beach is calm and underwater is great for snorkeling and beginner scuba. We managed to spot a turtle and squids, baby shark among other colorful fish. Dive center, Aqura Dive on the property is definitely worth trying...very professional and friendly folks making your experience feel safe and enjoyable. One the best parts about this property is you get to enjoy both wonderful sunrise and sunset. Room is spacious and outdoor shower is great.
15 May 2018They also have swimming pool, kayak, and snorkeling equipment to use for free. Just couple of notes though. They don't provide amenities such as dental kit, comb, etc. Although basic ones like soap and shampoo are provided. They are also transforming to new ownership and management, though all staff are friendly sometimes communication can be an issue. Just make sure to always double check when you request things.
Other thing that I find odd is that they don't provide room service for all the bungalows, except for the villa. So you will have to dine in restaurant, which is near from the bungalows. One last thing, the resort is on an island about 45 minutes boat ride from Labuan Bajo, so make sure you stack up on snacks if you plan on staying for quite sometime. "

" Unique experience! Beautiful rooms right on the beach next to a beautiful reef. The diving from here was excellent. However, the food wasnt great. A bit basic and expensive for what it was (and there are no other options). Overall a great stay though. "

" The Sudamala Seraya at Labuan Bajo is a home away from home. The staff members are attentive and the food delicious, my favorite being the cassata, made with homemade ice cream. The diving was excellent. My dive instructor Hebe gave us a pre-dive pep talk and a reminder for a buddy check. Towards the end of my dive, I inadvertently shot up to 3 meters deep before realizing that I had not done my 3-minute safety stop, and neither had my dive buddy. Down below, Hebe came to the rescue and gently pulled us back down to 5 meters deep, upon which she held both our hands to keep us from once again straying off. Like obedient school children, we stayed put. "

" Great service, everything you need on a paradise island in Komodo National Park. Food is great, rooms are clean and at high standards. They offer you free water and are always there ready with a glass whenever you come out from pool or sea. The snorkeling is better than some of the diving, you have a whole reef on the resort's private beach, managed to see turtles, clown fish, lion fish, puffer fish, sweet lips, trumpet fish and so much more. The resort has a sunset spot with beanbags and own bar. You get what you pay for. In my opinion is worthy, happy I decided to pay a bit for this slice of paradise. "

" We spent just a couple of nights in Seraya resort, but we loved it. The bungalows are spacious and just a couple of steps from the amazing coral reef and white sand beach. The hotel was very clean and tidy. It is very well located, 15 minutes from the port. I would stay in this lovely place again for sure! "

" Spent last 3 days of our honeymoon here. Obviously not as fancy as an Aman resort, in terms of service and quality of construction (and far less expensive), but this location is simply amazing. My wife and I loved it. We were there in mid-February, which is the so-called rainy season, but it really hardly rains on Seraya much at all during the rainy season - it is much drier than Bali for example, where it rains quite a lot. The view from our room (we stayed in the deluxe villa) was simply better than any place I've ever stayed. A quick 5 minute walk uphill gives an even more amazing view of the entire island, as well as many of the surrounding islands. The hotel's beach has good snorkeling, with pristine coral.
