" I had booked the Banana Leaf Bungalows for 5 nights in June 2017. Due to a serious injury sustained prior to landing the owner gave me a full refund, when the booking did not allow this. Absolutely top owner/manager for which I'm very grateful. I wish I could have stayed. Would recommend this hotel on that basis as I have not found this kindness elsewhere on my travels. "

" We had such a nice time staying here! Just 3 min walk from the main tourist center but just far enough that it doesn't feel hectic. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we even lost our room key (completely our fault) and they didn't even charge us for it. The breakfast is much better than we expected- they have toast, omelettes, pancakes or noodles, with coffee or tea. Comfortable beds, huge bathroom in the room and our own private balcony, there was even a TV with some DVDs in the room. We had only booked a fan room so we were happy to have an AC, it wasn't cold but very comfortable. Wifi was decent, especially closer to the front desk. If you ever need really good wifi (10Mbps), the Taco Corner across the street has GREAT wifi. Fantastic experience! Would recommend. "
