About Us
Archipelago Festival is a concept created by The Sophie’s Choice (TSC) team that marries “Music” and “Sports” industries as one package, aiming to create an international platform for tourism promotion and the essential relationship between both industries; and at the same time, to create various business derivatives for the targeted region.
This concept is created to help the Eastern region of Indonesia to build and elevate their tourism industry. TSC has chosen the Island of Bali and Kei Islands in Southeast Maluku Regency as the first locations to implement the program, and named it Bali-Kei Archipelago Festival (BKAF) - a registered name.
Our Vision is so that Tourism Industry does exist in Southeast Maluku Regency ; with the Mission to help increase the local Government Generated Revenue. To accomplish our Vision and Mission, gradually and progressively, the Implementation Strategy is to invite various online and offline business entities to participate during our EXPO program commence on the 7 and 8 October, 2017.
What is in the program?
Bali.Kei Archipelago Festival has two different sub-programs, a music expo and a cross-country sports event. They are named Archipelago International Music Expo(AIME) and Archipelago Run (ARCHIRUN), respectively. These sub-programs will commence in the same week, starting on the Island of Bali and ends on the Maldives of Southeast Asia, the Kei Islands. AIME and ARCHIRUN will be produced together by using the “Piggy-back” strategy.
The business incubator is The Sophie’s Choice, registered in Indonesia as PT. Ini Pilihan Sophie, and the program management division is called Archipelago Festival Management (AFM), working closely with both regions’ tourist promotion entities, Bali Tourism & Promotion Board (BTPB) and Kei Tourism Board (KTB), which is never before implemented in Indonesia.
