" The picture is so deceiving, it is old and bathtub is not up to 4 star level. You can even damage your clothes because the hanger has some cracks on the sides.

Non smoking room is terrible, you can still smell that someone has smoked here. The staff said maybe because of the carpet? Give me a break!

Bed is ok as it is rated 4 star but quite small.

The staff is totally disrespectful. I asked them that I am not satisfied and they said that I should have read the "terms and conditions", like the premium room is the renovated ones and the old ones are the one that you should just live with it. First and foremost the pictures in agoda shows all the beautiful renovated ones, and not the old ones.

" From beginning to departure. First class service. Porters, reception, restaurant, housekeeping, maintenance, the works. We will be back. My cousin who lives locally recommended this hotel. Early hours of the morning, our sink was blocked, within minutes, the maintenance man was there and fixed it within less than five minutes. Great amenities, central to everything, well informed staff, great swimming pool, great water feature outside the restaurant. Four lifts, so you don’t have to wait for eternity. Thankyou staff at the Elizabeth, my wife has a very serious medical condition and we were returning to Western Australia from The Netherlands and needed a three day break on the way home. You truly made our stay very pleasant and trouble free. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks once again. Mark and Renske Hogan. "

" Very good place to stay. Reason to give just 3 star, that hotel deserves much better. Rooms and inner facilities are clean, breakfast is simple, but OK. Hotel design internally tending to previous generation. But don't take it wrong. It's good and convenient place to stay, nearby to Orchard, but very easy to walk, quiet place, away of city noises. Has ice machine free, laundromat, need 10 SGD by coins and same for drier. Room can be some smell of wet, but running AC will remove it. "

" Loved it! Lovely Hotel situated on dead end road on hill. Easy walk to mall for breakfast. Did not care for the hotel breakfast as waiter was extremely rude. $40 for 3 tiny pancakes 2" x 2" diameter and I had a waffle, 3 pieces or 3/4 of a small waffle 2 coffee. Waiter basically ignored my daughter and i. But $40 American dollars for that? My daughter left starving. However the rest of hotel is so nice! The maids, the porters, the counter, everyone so kind and so wonderful. "

I loved the pool. It was quiet and secluded. Also, it was very clean.
The room was spacious enough. The furniture and appliances seemed a little dated, but not to the point were I could really complain about them. Cleanliness was not a problem. The room I stayed in was very clean. Finally, the location was awesome. Just a short walk to shopping, restaurants and orchard road! Would certainly stay here again. "

" Having terrible experience in the bar. We went to having our wedding anniversary staycation and would like to enjoy the bar and truffle fries.
The bartender has already informed us 1030pm will be the closing time, and last order is 10pm.
We arrived before the last order and they welcomed us to the pool side, ordered truffle fries and long island tea. The food arrived late, which okay for us because we will just station beside the pool and enjoy our food.
Out of horror, an old staff (roughly 50+ to 60 years old) come over to chase us away with stern tone, asking us do we know what is the time now and it is closing time. We just have a sip of the cocktail and few fries from the bucket, and we have to leave.
I have no idea why it is such. Pool well lit and hotel guests were swimming in the pool, but the bar customers have to leave.
In the end we find it too not welcoming, we just left the food ordered almost un-touch. Wasted $35+ and spoiled our anniversary date. "

The room is small but it is enough in Singapore.
I have been here this month almost two weeks.
The hotel is close to the Far East Plaza at Ion Orchard.
If you want to take the bus or MRT, you should pass through York hotel lobby to GoodWood Park hotel road as a short cut.
At the first day, bed sheet is dirty after I asked clean up room service, house keeper changed the bed sheet. Sometimes they didn't change it and they never clean up the floor.
But, doesn't matter because the room condition is not bad if I ask, they are willing to do.
The hotel managers are very good.
They remember all guests.
When printer was not working, they are also willing to do printing out service at night. "
