" A wonderful change of scenery and pace from main Singapore. The tropical forest made for an interesting hike. The wetlands themselves are a fascinating sight with flat terrain and various animal species. "

" If you look closely enough you can spot crocodiles here, but they are usually not close enough to cause any harm, just minding their own business in the water.

There are some parts of the mangrove that have a very strong mangrove stench but that's just how mangroves are. This place is also swarming with mosquitoes so I would suggest having insect repellent with you. "

" The Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (SBWR) is in the north west coast of Singapore. A preserved marshland, full of both land creatures and birds.
At the visitor and entrance to the park, there are small bat's hanging from the roof. And each year, more than 3000 migratory birds pass through and make a stop at this area.
Each visit is a chance to see something different. "

" Interesting place for a walk in a Mangrove. Great Wildlife. Be quiet and listen closely for amazing bird songs. Watch out for crocks.
Tip: Even if your going to take a car home, Note the time the buses come, and grab a bus back to civilization, where you can grab a car more easily. The bus comes only every 2 hrs and the nearest uber or taxi will take 20 min to call. "

" A great place for a weekend breakaway. Suitable for young kids, but you'll have to be extra careful especially some part of the park literally is by the sea, swarm and traps. There are swarm crocodiles here but I have never encountered one. Lots of wildlife such as crabs, spiders mossy, lizards and birds. A great place for casual photography as well. "

" A nature fun environment with migrant birds. One could easily spend at least 2 to 3 hours enjoying the natural surrounding especially during low tide. I saw 3 crocodiles, (one of which has a missing tail piece) resting on the wetland. "

" An absolute gem of a place to spend a few hours in the middle of nature. Chance to see a crocodile in the wild along with the migratory birds that this place is famous for. They have a wonderful boardwalk in the mangroves as well. Plus lots of things to do nearby in Kranji as well "

" A splendid place to explore and capture some breathtaking pictures. Houses different types of species, ranging from crocodiles to birds and a variety of exotic plants like mangrove and different flowers. Amazing place to catch some fresh air and learn more about the different species of creatures. Includes informative slabs about the creatures usually spotted at an area. Very useful for school trips and educational purposes. Awesome and totally recommended. "

" a Very abundant wetland park for its living creatures. I rested at kingfisher pod to avoid the strong noon sun. It was my second time visiting there, i walked more along the mangrove boardwalk today and was impressed by those long roots rise from the ground.

It's pity to see rubbish littered by the torists. Please let us not leave any rubbish in the parks! "

There's crocodile tooo... If your lucky enough to see .

" So beautiful! Finally some real nature in Singapore. Lots of mossies though but also a huge amount of fish and even crocodiles! Not to mention the birdlife here. You can even see Malaysia on the other side of the water. I recommend spending at least 2h here and not too late in the day. Best time, I guess, is very early or before sunset when the wildlife is active the most. "

" Needs more facilities like restroom, drinks and food point. Beware of the monkey's they jump on people for no reason. We were just walking. "

" This is a fairly big wetland and it will take some time to cover the whole area. Choose what you like to see and explore the area at your own pace. The Mangrove Boardwalk is an interesting track to try and it is a nice way to learn more about the mangrove ecosystem. The Buloh Tidal Ponds is a long track but it is reasonably shady and offers many opportunities to see some interesting creatures, like crocodile during low tide, mudskipper, spiders and monitor lizard. "

" This is the new addition to the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. The centre is well built with lots of educational displays and there are also many activity areas for the kids too. The centre is connected to Sungei Buloh Wetland by tracks that wander around. The scenic one is along the waterfront where there are many hives for you to observe the birds. A great place to enjoy nature in a busy city. At Eagle Point, the platform offers a very good view of Johore Bahru, Singapore closest neighbour. "

" Salties, Malay monitors (largest lizards after the Komodo dragons), variety of water and other birds, monkeys you can find them all here. Be careful though, don't venture into the woods or marshes and stay along the lanes. Better to go with friends than alone. Though the salties haven't done anything yet they are present and we need to understand they are very dangerous. powerful predators so stay away from the water in all forms!! "

" A good place for photographers. Have a lot of wetland animals and natures. It is very educational and include playground for kids to play in. It does not have any food when i visited as it was closed down. When i visit the place long ago, the fish and chips were very nice and a quiet place to both enjoy and eat the meals together. "

" Great place to come for a stroll but bring LOTS of mosquito repellent, and a parasol for the sun. We went on a cloudy day so the heat was bearable but it's still pretty sticky. Take lots of water too.
I was immensely disappointed not to see a crocodile, but I've been assured that plenty exist. Lots of birds and water monitor lizards though.
And you can see JB within swimming distance! (though don't try it or you'll get nabbed by the ICA)

A cool day out for those wanting to escape city life. "

" Amazing reserve brimming with wildlife. Interesting visitor center. However, lacks amenities, not highly accessible and does not have good mobile signal. "

" Great scenic views and the chance to spot abundant wildlife makes this an excellent choice to visit. Trails aren't exceedingly difficult, most are well-paced with enough leg room for a small group of people to walk together. I have spotted storks, huge pelicans, all types of herons, monitor lizards in the pond, monitor lizards on the trails, a shocking amount of spiders, huge mudskippers that are surprisingly adorable to watch, and numerous other encounters etc. Recommended for a respite away from the urban landscape, the only drawback being the hard to reach location. Going by public transport requires one to change several buses and walk for a short while, not that hard by any means but more arduous than normal. I enjoy photography on the weekends there and it remains one of my favourite outdoor spots in Singapore. *photos have been edited "

" Brilliant place for a walk as long as it's not raining. Went on a Saturday morning and it was nowhere near crowded. Lots of shade, lots of sights. Be prepared to walk at least 2km, but you can do this at a leisurely place. Take note that there are 2 carparks, one at the south eastern edge of the park and one in the centre. "

" Some places are rather serene. The sounds, the forest charms, the mangrove areas are a great break from city life. Had a delightful time enjoying nature! You must have some mosquitoes repellent with you, though. And come here with someone, never alone. "

" Cant believe Singapore have crocodile!
This wet land is very amazing that you wont feel like in Singapore.
There are many many many many spiders all over the tree.
Take a short walk from the car park to the main wet land that you can see many different type of birds resting or flying around, also have many Monitor lizard and fish keep jump up from the water. Some monkey will came out around 5pm when the sun is getting set.
The more scary thing is the walk path is not covered, half way I walk to a bird watching hat then I saw there is a HUGE crocodile hiding in the bush less than 2meter away from me!
It was a scary experience but it's still worth for visit. "
