" Not a big museum and a few collections. But it presents some basic knowledge about Bangka island and tin mining history here. The entrance is free of charge. There's another bigger Tin Museum in Muntok. "

" As the name implies, this museum is about history of tin metal in Indonesia. Why in Bangka Island? Well it's because here is the biggest tin producer in Indonesia. The condition of the museum it self is good, but i think there's a need to push more of it's publication. I feel that there's too little visitor here. "

" This museum is easy to find as it is located in the center of Pangkalpinang city. Its space is quite small for a museum. Surprisingly, it has a complete information regarding tin mining. And it is free of charge!!!
We will be able to see the map of tin mining in Bangka island, Indonesia, also the mining tools, many tin samples and the miniatures of mining activities. There is also a big picture of mining history in the last room.
If you have enough time to spend in Pangkalpinang city, this museum is recommended to visit! "
