" This must be one of the best Greek islands, the old town of Rhodes has turned into a fantastic shopping and eating place with those fabulous castle walls surrounding it, it has a wonderful shore line with beaches just yards away, places to see as a must is butterfly valley, this really is a wonderful sight to see nature, another is lyndos a small village at the far end with ancient monuments high above, we were there on a cruise, the oceana, the port and other cruise ships were quite a sight in itself "

" Spend a week there ( old town of Rhodes) and had a wounderful time. Traveled the whole island, 2013. My only complaint is the place we rented was a bit pricey ( 1650 euros for 6 nights) and was located across the red light district.
01 March 2018However the place was very clean and no problems from across the street. 99% of the locals were extremely kind and professional.
The food was excellent throughout the island. We ate 3 meals a day at various restaurants. My hat off to all of them. "
