" steak rare like i ask but cold also the condiment. the most irritating for this kinda over price steak house they use lame knife to eat? its like we eat in some low class steak house. they put 17 pages menus with note, like who will read all of them. its not like we read some kind of paper to apply loan. next is they charge for cooking service, not mention for 5 and 10% tax. seriously? even when we buy food in street they dont ask for cooking service. they serve it include price for cooking it. will never come there again and will not suggest all my foreign and local friend to come there ever "

Never had this kind of charge before at any place. Seriously! If you call yourself grill restaurant and still charge for cooking fee. Something wrong then... or you can inform the customer about that charge so they will aware of it. "

" The place is clean, super tidy, with modern touch everywhere. Meatshop is on ground floor, the restaurant (R&B Grill) is on second floor. There's a lift as well as stairs.
Food is fantastic, ranging from lamb chop, angus beef, to pasta. Waitress is very helpful, you'll treated like royal. Mango juice and lychee tea that I had were served with sugarcane, oh what a sweet detail. "

" I'll start with the good ones first:
Ambience is pretty good, they have both indoors and outdoors. Love the supermarket as they sell imported goods that cannot be found in local supermarkets.

My steak was cooked to what I ordered (medium), but both the steak and the condiment (mashed potato, sauce, veggies) were cold, so I asked for it to be reheated. Mashed potato is rubbery, not smooth and creamy.

When we asked for the bill, it takes more than 15 mins to get it, and when I asked the waiter she said that "it's just the way it is" without saying "Sorry for the wait". Service is quite poor, to be honest.

So, we definitely won't be back for the steak. "

" Good place to eat steak in Jogja. Their medium tenderloin steak is delicious! You can choose the doneness level of your steak (they have 6 levels). Live music here (at the smoking area) is very nice as well, not too loud so you still can talk with your partner without shouting to each other. They also have grocery store for imported foods, so many type of meats, dry aged beef, herbs.
Price is reasonable "

They also has bakery section, providing freshly baked bakery everyday. One interesting thing is they usually discount their fresh bakery by 50% after 19:00 (07:00 PM). They also has upscale mini market where you can find imported goods that is not very common to find in Yogyakarta. Highly recommended! "

They made "cooking charge" for Rp 45k per person, while the range of steak price is Rp 160k - Rp 350,-. The chef didn't cook it right. My steak was a bit tough and dry on the edge part. This place is full booked especially on weekend. They also sell many exported food that you hardly found on a regular store in Indonesia. " Definitely overpriced for such quality. We ordered wagyu tenderloin (which was so-so) and medium-well lamb chop which felt like rubber (it was so difficult to bite!). Bbq + blackpepper sauce were both too salty. However, plating were nice, welcome bread was tasty as well as the cakes.
The hot chocolate was nothing special and orange juice was PLAIN (maybe bcoz too much ice) and this is unacceptable for such price. Don't be surprised, they charge the steak's side dish (potatoes, vegetables and sauce) separately and not mentioning them in the menu!
Service was slow, it took almost 1 hour for the meals to come.
Ten years ago the steak was tasty and it was known as one of the best steak resto in town. But now it's totally different. Really dissapointing. Price vs value is not worth it. Will definitely not coming back. I think RnB needs to improve their quality/taste to stay in the competition. "

" Makanannnya enak walaupun chefnya gangerti masak steak, contoh minta medium rare yg dateng mateng dkk. Untuk harga segini biasanya steak udah professional banget ya kaya makan steak di hotel bintang 5 jakarta. Tp ini ngga garpunya masih pake grigi(merusak tekstur daging), makanan yg diblg chef treat disajikan di hotplate padahal steak yg disajikan dihotplate mah hrsnya murah karena temperaturenya akan naik terus padahal harusnya steak dibiarin resting agar marbling terjadi jadi steak empuk. Alasan bintang 2 karena servis sangat buruk, mulai dari lamban, gamau ngasih bill ke meja jd rata2 semua org ke kasir sangking lamanya, pelayan galak misal lg mesen kt minta pass wifi dis blg "bentar dulu saya catat dulu" ya masa ngmg gitu, trus setelah itu suka ngeliatin customer smbl ketawa2 dan nunjuk2 juga yg saya bgng ini pelayannya dr rsj mana? Update: Service is getting worse. Rude waiters, inconsistent service (their SOP requires customers be served with welcome bread, but it has been 3 times that my waiter did not do so, and it is not hecause they are out of bread, since minutes later they served it to the other table). I am sure this is just 2-3 staff that is bringing bad name to R&B, but sadly it affects your overall experience. "

" I've heard so much about this place even before I visited Yogyakarta. So my family and I made it a point to try this place out and write a review.

Place: Very cozy. I love the fact that they have a deli in front of the restaurant serving high-quality deli products and imported goods. The selection of the product in the store is great, while pricing is moderate, most of these products are not easy to find in most regions in Indonesia. The restaurant itself has very cozy and homey feel. It's a great place for a small to medium size family gathering. One thing to note is to make reservation well ahead of time. The place tends to get crowded, which makes securing a late reservation difficult.

Food: While I did not order the pricey steaks, most of my dinner companions did. Overall, the food is rated as good. Keeping with their steakhouse tradition, they cook and serve their dishes as authentic as possible, with only very minor twists to cater to local taste.

Price: Pricey. Again, most of their products and ingridients, including the meat they use for their dishes, are imported. Given the fact, I deem the price is reasonable though a bit on the high side.

Overall: 8/10. If you're a big fan of steaks, then this place is a must-try if you happen to be in Yogyakarta. Since I am not, I ordered a tuna steak, which was very tasty. I'm looking forward to come and try other dishes given the opportunity. "
