" Super crowded since it's iconic. Better to visit around 5-7 PM when the sun isn't too hot. Make sure to bring your sunglasses during the daytime. "

" Interesting attraction to visit despite being not big as I though it would be. The elevated deck is ideal for taking photos where you also get a nice view of the Marina Bay Sands. Try going early when less crowded. "

" I think there is no need to describe it. Only i will share my experience.
I visited here in March 2018. Very nice place.
The view around the Merlion is very scenic, carry good camera to capture. I visited here in evening time, so i could see a light and sound show.
I love the place.
No need to say i would recommend this to all. "

" This is the iconic symbol of Singapore, every tourist who lands in this country will definitely visit this spot. This place is very simple, plain and vast people can enjpy the scenic beauty of the river, the statue, the building and the nature in the evenings. A very good time pass and many river side restaurants are available nearby too treat your tummy after the relaxation. "

" Every time I go there, it’s always full of tourists, especially Chinese. The Merlion isn’t as big as I imagine but yes, it’s still interesting to go there. The afternoon or evening walk will be nice for visiting this place because it’s quite hot here during the midday. "

" Good tourist iconic spot in Singapore. It is really amazing to know the planning done by the authorities of Singapore by converting such a small place in iconic tourist destination with everything in a very planned manner "

" It's a nice visit. You can't really stay long because of the heat and the crowd. Find a place to take your pictures before being intentionally or unintentionally photobombed by other visitors. The waterfront is clean and scenic so take advantage of it. "

" The Merlion is the mythical symbol of Singapore and easily the most popular attraction on the whole island. Come to visit this half-fish, half-lion statue during the day to witness crowds of tourists all bustling for position for Singapore’s most sought-after photo-op in front of the 70-tonne concrete figure, which stands 8.7 metres tall and has a fountain of water spurting out into the picturesque Marina Bay. You can find the statue at Merlion Park, situated at One Fullerton near the waterfront at Marina Bay. This must-see Singapore attraction is just a short walk from Raffles Place MRT Station, and can also be visited via this popular day-tour, which stops off at all of the other most popular attractions in Singapore. "

" I have heard the telling explaining why "Merlion" has been created and has been called as the symbol of Singapore.

"Mer-" probably refers to marine or sea as Singapore is an island surrounded by the sea. And "Lion" is the first creature that the first group of pioneer had seen when they first arrived in Singapore.

Merlion is the perfect combination of the unique of Singaporean geography and fauna. "

" The iconic structure was above my expectations. There was a beautiful light projection on the merlion in the evening that was stunning to look at along with the marvellous infrastructure of the skyline across the Marina Bay area. This is a MUST visit for tourist, it's simply amazing. "

" The great merlion statue shines with different light and in different forms at night. It changes from pictures of flowers to green leafs to digital constructions and so on. It's a show itself, watch it from different angles and you can spend a vividly memorable night. "

" The original national icon of Singapore — Lion head with a Fish tail. Situated at the head of the Singapore River. All around it, the modern city skyline forms a most scenic backdrop. Whole day and night, bus loads of tourists visited the site. It is a very small park, but one of the most visited and most photographed spot in Singapore. "

" It's a perfect place to watch the light show. They are always many people around, but it's a perfect spot for starting the sightseeing. Few steps away there is the Fullerton bay hotel - don't miss to visit the Lantern bar there, which has an incredible view to the Marina Bay Sands "
