TripTrus is an online marketplace speficially designed to meet the needs of low-budget travelers and backpackers to look for trip packages in Indonesia without having to comb through various outlets and unrelated search results. Trip packages promoted at TripTrus comes from various independent tourism service vendors (Trip Operators) from all over Indonesia to destinations all over Indonesia.
The destinations promoted at TripTrus are mostly undiscoverd paradises that are just as beautiful as other popular destinations in Indonesia. TripTrus also provides articles related to tourism in Indonesia as well as an events calendar to promote cultural and other interesting events in Indonesia. The trip packages are those with a fixed date set by the Trip Operators.
We already had a beta launch as a bootstrap project in July 1st, 2013 with the goals of supporting the tourism activities in Indonesia. As of now, we are using our personal fundings to develop and keeping the services running.
