" It was a great moment of dinner for us at here by finding a new taste of Nyonya style, and by melting by a rich Gula Melaka flavored Cendol!!
25 May 2018Seriously, the taste was a unique fusion of traditional and modern of Nyonya style. We were very impressed.
I ever will be back here someday in my next visit of Melaka!! "

" When we came at 8pm, somehow most of the food has been sold out (such as popiah, kueh pie tie or kangkong). However, we managed to get the very nice sambal prawn and asam fish.. "

" The food is really good๐๐. But expect to wait like 20minutes or more till it arrives. The rice portion is quite small you'll need three scopes. "

" Tried Nyonya Ayam Limau Purut RM9 dish, taste is good but a bit pricey with small portion of chicken. Tried cendol but taste just normal.
24 April 2018Nice ambience n spacious with nice n simple design of combi wooden table n chair. Preferably a set comes with rice & small portion of okra sambal to have a complete meal. Great service and staff will come over to refill plain water quite often. Overall is a good restaurant but maybe can review on portion given or added some vege. "

" Their food are among the best nyonya dishes in Melaka but with a very small portion. Serving also take a longer time despite most of the dishes we order are suppose to be precooked in a big pot. Some staff are quite arogon and proud of themself which they shouldn't as it will compromise their hospitality level. Remember if you improve on the above and you will get my 5 star rating. "

" Patronize this place twice, love their Sambal Udang, Ikan Goreng Chilli, Nyonya Popiah and Nyonya Cendol. The Ice Kacang is quite unique. The staff are helpful and polite. "

" Taste not so impressive "

" Nice ambience. Black and white contemporary theme. Other than the cendol which was ok, the rest of the food were way below expectations. The nonya chap Chye resembled something my helper would churn out- bland- and the otah otah, in my daughter's words, looked like bread crumbs on top. Will definitely not return as sorely disappointed after the good reviews. "

" Really really good nonya food in a comfortable setting with exceptional service. The ayam pongteh, sambal sotong, okra belachan, chap chye, and chinchalok omelette were lip smackingly good. Crown it off with their amazing chendol and you will have an amazing lunch. "

" Good curry, good service, nice clean place. Perhaps chicken should have been cooked a little longer so it was really falling off the bone. Parking is difficult so worth taking a cab/grab. "

" My husband, sister and some good friends were looking for good nyonya food and enjoyable music at Melaka. With recommendation we came to Bulldog and enjoyed a delicious meal. The brinjal, lady fingers, laksa and cincaru fish sambal was superb. To top it all the band comprising of lead singers Alvin who plays the guitar, fiddle, harmonica and voice that sounds like Phil Collins was so so amazing. The lady Joy was super sexy and so versatile and sang every song we requested. The drummer is the owner of the place. A young handsome chap who is the chef as well and plays the drum so dramatically. We really enjoyed ourselves singing and dancing at this cosy family place and the people there are friendly. Rest assured we will be back there the next visit. We found our Melaka Haunt! Cheers! "

" The cendol is a must-try, you should call to book ahead (book the cendol as well as your seats). Serves pretty delicious and authentic nyonya food, but the dishes are in smallish portions. "

" Nice dining environment with live band on Fri & Sat nights. I tried nyonya cendol RM5 and nyonya laksa RM9 (small). The cendol is really nice. I tasted the gula melaka slight different from other places, not too sweet but flavour enough. Coconut milk is strong enough too. The chef told me they use good home made gula melaka and fresh coconut milk. "

" Great service, great food, and great atmosphere. If you really want a table, book in advance. This place can get full on some nights, and occasionally cancel a dish. The Peranakan cuisine tastes authentic and will satisfy even the most fussy foodie. "
