Supported by the Ministry of National Education Indonesia, SEAQIS (formerly SEAMEO QITEP in Science) conducts professional development programs for science educators within Indonesia and the South East Asian region. It also conducts the annual International Conference on Science Education (ICon) and engages in a number of international collaborations to develop science education resources and to strengthen the science education community.
