" Stayed one night here and it was one of the best places to be at in Nusa Penida. Staff is friendly and always happy to help you. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful with a beautiful pool situated in the middle of the bungalow. Free breakfast is included in the room price and the restaurant also provides good meals. Motor bikes are available to hire at request depending on the availability. "

" Place is ok. Quite, clean enough, thin wall. We can hear near room(another room's wall is 1 meter far) But women staff is worst. They gossip in their language all time. And let us rent an broken bike. We have to ride a bike with phone light at night time(we just found out) .....in forest. In other way Men staff are good they help us a lot. And last one, Poor wifi. We bearly connect they wifi. "

" Very nice hotel in Nusa Penida, close to Cristal Bay. Their staffs are friendly and helpful. You can book a room with breakfast or without breakfast, cost of breakfast around average IDR 50k/person. Spacious room and bathroom. Some rooms have TV and some don't, you better ask them first. "

" Amazing outdoor and swimming pool area. Breakfast is not tasty, well I think nobody can cook on this island.
27 October 2017Bedroom is spacey and has an attic area with one more king bed. So one room can fit 4 people actually. However I went upstairs and it kinda smells bad.
There are some insects living in the room. And my bedroom door is broken so literally anybody can break into my room if they want.
I love the bathroom. It is clean and modern and most importantly it is open air so yoy can feel the nature. The downside is that when it rains, you can't take a shower. "

" Booked a twin room, they gave us a king room. After highlightung to them the issue, they resolved the issue by putting a mattress on the floor.....nice scenery by the pool, very picturesque. Also very close to Crystal beach. "

" It's neither here nor there really, to far to walk to the beach and too far from town they rely on the fact that there is no where else to stay in this part. It's not really bali style not really western style just fails on both counts but hey you shouldn't spend your time in a hotel room anyway . Stay a couple days at most. As for the food why not walk 5 mins up the road for half the price. The staff are a little odd. "

" Two stars for the nice location. Service was a catastrophe. No water in the room, no towels and not a single bit of the balinese kindness we had experienced before in other places.
27 June 2017We had to ask multiple times for towels to take a shower. We were ignored for 20 minutes at breakfast, staff was chatting, whilst we were waiting to have our order taken. We were even hailing them and got laughed at. After I walked up to staff and politely asked if we could have our orders taken they did, just to run off with the order to the reception (instead of dropping it off at the kitchen) and have another 20 minute chat there... we were stuck waiting without breakfast, whilst everyone around us (who arrived later btw) got their breakfast. I've never felt this ignored and unwelcomed as a guest anywhere. The staff also didn't clean off the plates from other guests who had already left, so the place became riddled with flies in a matter of minutes. No candles, no flytraps and most importantly, no removing of the dirty dishes. Staff meanwhile kept chatting. More than an hour after we sat down, some of us were still waiting for some food.
And also you should bring enough cash, because credit card payment is a lie and there's only ONE (!) ATM on Penida.
There is also no safe in the room, and you shouldn't leave your luggage with them at the reception, they almost carried luggage from other guests into our room. We had to tell them, that it wasn't ours.
We will definitely come back to Penida, but next time we will take another Hotel. Cannot recommend Bintang by any means. "

" We had a pleasant stay at Bintang Bungalows! It is located in a serene area about half an hour west from the Buyuk Harbour and about 5-10 minute drive from Crystal Bay.

There were four of us (all adults), and we got a family room which is a duplex room (google it) with one queen bed on ground floor and another one on the duplex. The room has outdoor shower - with good pressure and hot water working well.
Breakfast was good, you've got choices of pancakes, toasts, omelettes and beverages. There are a lot of flies in the dining room though :s (but there are a lot of them in the island anyway, so it's not a surprise, but annoying nevertheless).
Would definitely recommend this place to stay in Nusa Penida! "

Neat place , clean with pool facing rooms and very polite staff .. definitely a good place to get away from noisy crowd of usual popular places in Bali .. "

Excellent and friendly atmosphere is based on very kind and smiled staff, they really take care about their guests, help every time and offer support with trips arrangements during whole stay. There is restaurant which serve tasty and fresh food. I'm here for 5 days but first impression is fantastic! Highly recommend :) "
