So many plastic bottles, food waste, plastic containers, all scattered in some places. Untuk yang pengen keliling tapi bawa anak kecil dan orang tua, bisa naik buggy car dengan harga perorang @25.000 untuk keliling KRB (karna kasihan kalau di ajak jalan jauh). Seruuu dan edukatif, karna sepanjang jalan kita bisa tau nama-nama tanaman di sana.

" Memiliki nilai sejarah sekaligus sebagai kawasan hijau di tengah kota bogor, tempat ini juga merupakan sentral penelitian bagi organisasi Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI). Di dalam kawasan ini juga terdapat Istana Bogor yang masih aktif ditempati oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia. Sehingga tak heran bila tempat ini dijaga cukup ketat. Namun, sebagai kawasan hijau dan kawasan sejarah, tempa ini cocok untuk dijadikan tempat rekreasi. Yang perlu disiapkan adalah stamina dan cukup dan juga bekal air dan makanan. Karena wilayah di dalamnya sangat luas untuk dijelajahi. Bila perlu, bawa juga karpet atau matras untuk sekedar duduk dan piknik. Karena hal itu akan sangat mengasyikkan. "

" Bogor botanical gardens are a wonderful weekend get away for those who miss the green in jakarta s glass jungle. Luckily we went on a non sunny but no rain day and it was really nice. The weather is beautiful. Try eating from outside as there is just gone restaurant inside the garden with really poor service. Although the view from the restaurant is really nice and I would recommend sitting there for a coffee or a drink. "

" Perhaps it's prejudice since I love parks, but I loved the experience walking around the gardens. It was beautiful and enjoyable. There was a restaurant, too, with decent food. A picnic would be nice there, shame I didn't prepare enough when I went there. However, I was upset that people threw plastic wrappings, especially candies, on the ground carelessly while a bin was available just several metres away! "

It's a great day out for a family, and my personal favourite was the Orchid Gardens (housed in their own building), featuring rare, indigenous, and hybrid orchids. The restaurant, with an amazing view of the fountains and gardens, was also a treat! "

This place is so natural, green, fresh and rejuvenating. There are hundreds or even thousands various plants here. Its a great place to bring your kids. In this area also placed Bogor Palace which is a Presidential office/home.

This place has about 4 entrance but i forgot the entrance fee. If you had bought the ticket, keep it until you left the garden. Just for risk mitigation if something happened and you have to show your ticket. "

" Beautiful and dense botanical garden. Good place to chill, hangout if you like the nature as you can find it in the center of Bogor City. You can explore the area by foot or bicycle. It is recommended to bring your own food; snacks and water, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses for protection from the sun because it can be too strong during the day. You might want to bring your own mat or something to layer the grass when you want to sit, but they also sell it here. Toilets are many, but you have to pay for using it with the price of IDR 2,000 or so. "

There will be carrot seller all around the garden outside fence on motorcycle where you can buy to feed and touch the deer, they are very nice and calm to touch. Try the tour to the palace if you want to see more awesome architecture and design including the magic mirrors. Be nice not to throw trash and make noise. Take picture close to the huge old tree. " Nice place to hang out and a good variety of species; however it is more a place to relax than educational. Greenhouses are not open to public and guide information is limited. Also didn't see much orchids in bloom in the orchidarium, but it may not be the right season... I didn't find someone to explain. I was there on holiday season and the park, which is huge, was very lively and filled with families and groups enjoying this quite clean garden. The presidential summer palace is nice but you can't visit it. "

Particularly enjoyed the orchid and fern areas as well as the Mexico garden. The place is steeped in history, from Dutch colonial times and has the distinction of housing the mother palms of all oil palms in South East Asia. Set aside a day to explore on foot ! "

Because we must go around Bogor Botanical Garden. We can see President palace inside Bogor Botanical Garden, the good view was near Srigunting pond. I am not recommended to visit Bogor Botanical Garden when rainy season because sometimes tree in there fall down with a crash. "
