10 June 2018I am a frequent customer at this location so I kind of know their usual "downtime schedule": - About 10PM they would shut down Wifi and Power outlet so that most of us would be forced out.
- Most of the morning every Sunday, both Wifi and Power wouldnt work either due to some reasons that the staffs tried to explain but made no sense (about limited slot something).
I had to ask the staffs there every time to check these so that I might get them. Most Singaporeans are too polite to not asking them.
But, Hello! I paid to use the services here. I didnt come here then have to ask for it. It makes me feel like I am being too demanding or something? "

Taste wise, however it is as consistent as any other Starbucks location. Do not rely much on the WiFi, I guess they have throttle your internet speed after a certain amount of time. "

" This is a very large Starbucks branch. Mind you, it's a normal Starbucks and not a Starbucks reserve branch so don't expect it to have different types of brewing methods. It does have the all the regular items plus a good variety of food. It also has a lot of dry goods such as mugs and stationery as well as tumblers. As it is so large, the space is relaxing and there's a large window where you can see the planes on the runway. "

Prices are exactly the same as in USA, but they will not have all the American options. Some of iced teas aren’t available, passion fruit tea, and there’s no almond milk....soy milk only. You can get most of your traditional Starbucks fixes, very clean and spacious in comparison to some of the NYC shops. Nice staff, fast service, can’t complain too much. "

We bought green tea cream Frappuccino & dark mocha Frappuccino for the one for one deal. Drinks were not blended properly and couldn’t even sip the green tea cream one at time because it wasn’t well blended. Could chew on bits and pieces of ice for the dark mocha one.
After we drank it, we developed stomachache + cramps & diarrhoea, only ones in the family who had this as we were the only ones who drank Starbucks on that day. Her service was okay but she cursed a lot of vulgarities afterwards when talking to her colleagues (in a joking manner) which I find , turns customers away. Did not get her name, but I hope the management do look into this matter. "

Got into friendly chat with the lady server about how Starbucks offers free WiFi regardless of the country. She eventually learned that we were visiting from Canada. This space used to be occupied by a Shell station and consequently, the foot plan is a little odd with a first floor that feels a little like the interior set of Das Boot. Thankfully there’s a roomy upper level. Street parking is entirely illegal, but you’ll see people doing it anyway to grab a quick cuppa...the closest thing to a Starbucks Drivethru in Singapore. In my honest opinion, if they dont take up the entire table then its fine for them to sit there. I mean, its ironic that if a student substitutes that textbook for a magazine, his/her hogging would be completely justified. Just my opinion.
Either way, if you want to sit down and enjoy coffee, I would suggest you go somewhere else. "

Very often, this place is unfortunately invaded by a certain group of students hogging tables - sometimes, I believe, for the whole day. 2nd floor is a no-go for walk in customers. Understandably students, also Starbucks' customer, needed place to study and it will be rude for Starbucks to chase them away. The management struggles to keep balance on how much space for some of these hogger-student and non-hogging customers. Where possible, I would avoid this outlet. What a pity. "

18 June 2017You are made welcome upon entry and exit. They remember regulars by name. I can easily kill hours at this branch. Lunch specials start at 11:00am-2:00pm.
Outside of the Starbucks domestic airport cafe (which offers lesser service) the Park 23 branch is very close to the airport. Good parking options too.
This mall is never packed with shoppers. Cinema 21 is 2 floors up. Great idea to grab coffee before a movie. Opening hours for Starbucks Bali vastly differ from store to store. Here it's 10am-10pm, but here they stay open slightly later if there are waiting customers. "

Nakkiel from Yahoo answers: They could either move the sign so it is in front of the pillars or just make a smaller sign. I don't think the technical "Oh my god the sign says the coffee sucks when looked at from an exact angle" would really dissuade customers.. but their sign isn't easily visible through the pillars to potential customers. Can't buy coffee there if you don't know the store is there.

2. Probably by doing economic of scale, they want to achieve that by purchasing all the signs of the same size, and since it's a well known cafe brand, they expect the customers to know it's "Starbucks Coffee"
3. It takes an artistic perfectionist to ensure that all angles are well covered, but at first glance, you won't think of any other things except Starbucks.
Just like if you see Red, Orange, & Green advertisement, you'd probably think of Telecomms in Singapore
Lastly, to do a nice-r advertisement, I'd suggest you to take a clearer/less shaky images to bring out your company's image as well as the point you're driving across. I can only learn that we should invest in a proper camera & photographer so as to enhance the point to drive home.

1) i dont work for starbucks just a curious passerby.
2) On a rainy day, anyone on a whole the traffic flow will decrease. Its a traffic light stop so generally when people stop to wait for the traffic light they will look around.
3) If the big signboard "Starbucks Coffee" works, why do they need to put a circular logo in front of the big signboard to a) block the big signboard behind the circular logo, and b) does it act as a design fix it in the first place.
4) In terms of corporate identity for the same size of signboard across all starbucks outlets throughout the entire world, at least from what i observed, the size of the signboard at compasspoint differs from the size of the signboard at The Cathay. Though if i am paid by anyone, i would go measure the difference and share it in this forum.
5) If i think of the color green, i think of trees(fresh air), i think of malay green packets (money), my green shirt which i wore when i had my first kiss (memorable personal experience), even if it is a well known brand i may not instantly recall of the green for starbucks. May be for starhub?
6) Thank you for your kind suggestion to use a better camera, which i will keep in mind, but i dont carry my DSLR around every moment of my life or during rainy weather. I might keep in mind to bring up to the mobile phones company that after taking the picture, the app will switch to preview mode, instead of photo taking mode. However i doubt that will happen. Though it would require additional effort to check the photos i taken by spending a few seconds more, which i would strive to do so, if i remember. "

15 December 2015The place is quite spacious with plenty of seatings and power outlets (important!). One thing I noticed is that this place is pretty loud. I don't feel the people are talking very loudly, but it still feels like a market. Of course I'm not expecting this place to be as quite as the library, but I'm putting my earphones on loud volume and I can still hear the noise quite clearly.
Good place to get coffee, not that great if you need to relax or do something that requires concentration. "
