" Beside feeling sad for visiting my relatives or friends who get sick and have to be hospitalized here, I always enjoy coming to PGI Cikini Hospital in Jalan Raden Saleh, Menteng - Jakarta Pusat becaused I like the architecture design of the hospital. Cikini Hospital or PGI Cikini Hospital was formerly a mansion of a famous Indonesian painter, Raden Saleh. He designed himself the building which was built in 1852. Started at 1898, the mansion changed to be used as a hospital and nursing academy.
30 April 2018This place which locates in quite busy road is very well known for its unique architecture design. Architecture of old building styles are strongly viewed here! Big parking area accommodate well the cars and motorbikes coming to the hospital. An old church building welcome us warmly. Then the main building (the biggest building), stands gently in front of the church. Big poles, thick wall, big windows, and high ceiling featured the building warmly. I love the facade of the main building and the stairs. With big and very green park in the middle of the hospital, it does not seem we are in a hospital till we smell the medicine.
Wish the patients quick recoveries... Aamiin.
Note: I do hope the Jakarta Local Government or/and Indonesia National Government pay more attention to maintain the hospital or even reserve the hospital as a historical heritage. "

" It's clean and neat. So easy to find food out side the Hospital. Near minimarlet. But sometimes (only sometimes) the nurse is not friendly, the way they talk to the family is just not simpatic, even worse if you used BPJS. But I can say, in here is way much better than some other hospital. "
