" Amazing food! Best that I have had in Indonesia so far! If there is only time for one nice place, this would be it. "

" This is the best restaurant for fusion food.
The price is a bit expensive but the place is nice, comfortable and very crowded at the weekend.

Favorite food is lodeh salmon, really delicious really unique and never been anywhere else. It is a bit expensive for just lodeh but this is real different and very worthed to try. Portions are big enough but would be more satisfied if to eat alone.

Better reservation first before coming here because it will be very queued.

I will definitely come back for another menu. "

" Prettty good place to hang out. Food was okay. But what matters is the ambience. Location is pretty strategic, in the middle of the business district. "

" Excellent little restaurant serving Indonesian and southeast Asian Fusion food. Very quick and friendly staff, but the wait can be quite long due to the popularity of the restaurant (reservation highly recommended). Very big portion: one starter, one main & side dish and one dessert is enough for 2 people. "

" Space was nicely decked out but small. Do make reservations if you’re intending to come during peak hours. Staff was attentive.

Food portions were huge - enough to feed 2pax per main. I suppose the quantity and quality justifies the price tag that come along. Food tasted great but my favourite is still the fried duck. "

" My parents always prefer SE Asian food thus I decide to treat them here. I was afraid that they would lecture me for splurging on food, especially those that we could find in stalls/made it ourselves. And GIOI offered that kind of food! (Personally I just wanted to see what the rave was about). Thank goodness GIOI exceed my expectation. Sure it was food that you can find in most of Asian restaurants but on different level. You couldn’t argue that their quality matched their price. Even my parents enjoyed their selections without complaints of the price and taste, and that was something. I will definitely bring them back. "

" The duck is definitely amazing!
The staff and barista are nice and helpful. The ambience, seat, and decorations are nice and comfortable.

When you go upstairs you'll find another great place. They have live music every evening. "

" Been trying different menu each time I came
here and they have been consistently good like finger licking good! Price is on the steep side but many places are like that in Senopati neighbourhood but GIOI is one of the few ones that deserve my repeat visits. Service is always attentive and warm and it has entirely different ambience for its first and second floor which is great because if you came with family its first floor would be more suitable place while if you like to enjoy booze and live music on certain night you could go to its 2nd floor "

" The ambience is great, and the price is OK lah. But I expect the food to have more variety for the price. "

" Great food with a touch of Fusion Indonesian n asian cuisine, try their signature dishes like Salmon lodeh n the rice dishes with duck or chicken.
The decor is simple n quite comfortable just a casual place to having a lunch or dinner.

It's busy on lunch n dinner time especially weekends but they provided valet parking so it helps! "

" The food is amazing! I had doubts about this place thinking it's just another rip off restaurant around Senopati. But when I tried it for Iftar, all of the food was excellent. Ordered the duck, satay lilit and beef tartar. Amazing. A bit on the pricey side but worth the money "

" It's a Sunday and was clueless as to what to have for lunch. At the suggestion of the significant other, we decided to try a new restaurant GIOI at the Senopati area, located next to Three Buns.

Went through the limited menu of Indonesian Fusion cuisines and ordered the Crispy Duck rice (chef's recommendation). It came with 3 types of chili paste that was run of the mill and I didn't like any of them. The Duck was tender but wasn't crispy at all and it was drenched in oil. Also ordered the fried tofu for appetizer and it was leathery instead of being crispy outside. For my drink I ordered the recommended Green Apple flavored Yakult with the assurance of the waiter that it was house made and not prepackaged from the supermarket. Alas it tasted like the ones you can get at the supermarket.

Overall was quite disappointed with the meal and wasted my tummy space. Didn't like the decor too as it didn't feel cozy and the fusion of Asian and western style decor clashed.

Another peeve was that parking is a hassle as there are no parking spaces (forced to use the valet service). Anyways, I won't be returning anytime soon. "

" One of the newer restaurant in Senopati area, nice ambience with excellent food. The portions are huge! Well priced for the quality and taste of the food. Expect to spend IDR 400K - 500K for two.

4 stars due to the lack of parking space.

Ps. definitely should try the crispy duck and yakult lychee! "
