The Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation for Freedom (FNF) was established in 1958 by Theodor Heuss, the first president of the Federal Republic of Germany. FNF is funded by Germany´s parliament. We promote democracy, rule of law, market economy and human rights in Germany and in 60 countries around the globe. We cooperate with local partners and facilitate civic education, public discussions and international dialogue. The Foundation has a network of institutes in Germany and numerous offices in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, America and Asia. In Southeast and East Asia, we have offices in Bangkok, Seoul, Manila, Hanoi, Jakarta, Yangon and Phnom Penh. FNF has been working in Malaysia since the 1972.
