" As there are not that many cultural centers in Jakarta that offer alternative entertainment, Bentara Budaya is really a much needed oasis. Centrally located albeit in congested area, this place continues to showcase rare performances and exhibitions from, some that I went to see, Islandar Wijaya's violin solo performance to today's Selisik Batik Pesisir exhibition and market. Keep up the good work! A tip: if you take a cab or have a drive take you, and you come from Jl. Gatot Subroto to Jl. Tentara Pelajar, and the traffic is crazy, better get off right after the traffic light then walk across the railway, turn left, you'd save a lot of time. "

25 July 2016There is also an art gallery which may interest people who want to know more about Indonesian culture. "
Goutama Bachtiar
" Regularly visit this place for insightful events ranging from exhibition, seminar, workshop and cultural gem. Quite and relaxing ambiance. Pretty challenging to find out for first time visitor as it's located at not so popular area as well as relatively hidden from major roads around.
17 June 2016A venue where tons of insightful, inspiring events are held. So unfortunate number of attendees are underwhelmed. Maybe this is the area for improvement. Socializing and promoting related things. "
Achmad Maulana Sirojjudin
