" Pros: set on a pleasantly cool hill overlooking the Lake Mas Bestari and the green mountains, Villa Hijau is a nice place to stay. Some villa rooms (e.g. the Mawar rooms) allow the guests to enjoy the uninterrupted views of the Lake Mas, the mountains and stunning sunrise. The surrounding area of the villa offers a scenic walk along the lakeside and the rows of hilly vegetable gardens. At night, the view of the night sky from the villa is incredible.
16 September 2016Cons: Over the last 3 years we have not seen any significant improvement of the facilities, rooms, and services. During our recent stay on September 2016, we stayed at the Mawar room no. 2 and 3. We still had the same problems with hot water showers and poor condition of toilets just like in our previous stays. The employees worked well but slow and they were not friendly. As for the stairs, it was quite a challenge bringing stuff up/down those stairs. Last but not least, no discount on weekends and public holidays.
Overall: we had several nice stays here but with some problems. The rooms, facilities and food were not really good for the price we've paid. The villa managements really need to improve and maintain the existing facilities and services. "
