" This is the kind of place you always see on Discovery tv but never got to go.

Some stairs take you down a cliff. It is around 10 minutes walk. There a re some shacks just about one or two floors before you reach the sea level.

Once you are here, you start getting to see a lot of surfers enjoying their surfs in clean sea water. The view from here is better than amazing but this is just a teaser. You won't be able to figure out how people are reaching in the sea because you won't see any beach. And then you figure out a small 10 metre beach strip down there.

Once you take the stairs down you see a lot of stalagmite rocks formed by water cutting through and little caves made out of it. Complete peace. From here you can just swim or get out your surf board!

Local people provide changing rooms and you can also buy a pair of cheap beachwear in case you forgot to get.

Enjoy your visit!! "

" I visited this place a few times just to enjoy the sunset or just to relax and enjoy lunch at a cafe which is located along the road to Suluban Beach. To get here, you have to walk down quite far (for you whose don't like to walk a lot), and when you going down you might be see some monkeys play around the near the cave. And if you get into the front of a cave, and you see it's low tide then you can go down. but if it's high tide, it will be dangerous. but, this beach is perfect for surfing or just sunbathing with a beautiful view of the beach and cliffs. this place is one of my fav places to enjoy the sunset. " What a fascinating place! I manage to snag a parking spot in the scooter parking lot, then head towards the beach, which is tantalisingly close. Take care walking down the fairly steep steps between the houses, bars and cafes, all which have a small verandah area with sea views. I arrive at a viewing platform, which has a new bar being installed. Upstairs from here, there is another bar with patrons enjoying a cold one and taking in the sublime coastline. The best comprehensive views appear to be from here, as the further down you venture, you walk narrow pathways carved into the rock in places, and end up behind a large rock structure (big enough to support the bars and lodgings on top), with a small access point to the water, which is basically used by the many surfers. "

" Great place to go for an evening drink to watch the surfers, sunset and amazing coastline. Bit of a central spot for tourists so if your not into crowds might wanna steer clear. "

" Hands down one of the most beautiful beach in Bali.To go there you need good stamina as walking down to the beach required passing a steep stairs. Before going down you will meet many street stalls (mostly cafe and resto) as well as 1 viewing dock. From the viewing dock you can see the beach below. The beah is a surfer beach. It was cover with rocks and big waves. The entry to the beach is through a cave. All in all a really refreshing trip instead regular beach just like Kuta, Dreamland, or Sanur. To go back you need stamina as walking up required more effort than going down. "

" Uluwatu is a place on the south-western tip of the Bukit Peninsula of Bali, Indonesia. It is home to the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple and is the number four surf destination in the world for surfers of all abilities.[1][2]

The name Uluwatu comes from ulu, meaning ‘lands end’, and watu, meaning ‘rock’ "

" It's a nice place to enjoy the stalagmite, cliff, a little journey to down hill beach. It's beautiful! Just be careful with the glass debris that is mixed with the sandy pathway. Some visitors have been irresponsibly left their glass waste. "

" Don't miss checking this place out, it is not just for surfers. Perched on the cliff top, this has long been famous for surfing but it is well worth the effort to come and marvel at such a unique location. Walk down the stairs to the cave and cross the water to go to the cave and feel the waves pound beneath you while you drink a coconut and watch the surfers. You can pay to enter the pool area and get a massage of you like too "

" This is my first one start review, ever. I feel that the tourism industry has completely destroyed this beautiful temple. Thousands of people here at any given time. 30k entrance is steep.
And then the EVIL MONKEYS.
Have you ever seen The Wizard of Oz? Picture the evil monkey forest. Just like it, without wings. They are aggressive. They bare their teeth. I counted five sunglasses stolen and destroyed in the two hours I was there. "

" Very lovely beach. Close to uluwatu temple. Quite steep way down from the parking. Do not leave your belongings unattended as monkeys will steal them! "

" A very great Beach with amazing view.

NOTE: the place has a steep stairs to access, not reccomended for old people. No wheelchair accessible. No big parking spots. "

" Nice place to surf here, also a good area for shopping and buy some local suveniers. The view is stunning, i may suggest you to walk down to the water, the very place where the surfers enter into the water. There is a very cozy restaurant on that cliff, with an amazing lookout to the ocean. "

" Abit of a walk to get to but definitely worth it. Great place to catch the sunset too! Fave beach in uluwatu "

" It is an incredible place, I should give it 5 stars but I don't. At the entrance are 3 women at the street forcing everyone to pay "the parking fee" with really bad mood saying "If you don't pay 5.000 you don't enter". IF YOU GO THERE DON'T PAY, JUST PUT YOUR MOTORBIKE METERS FAR FROM THE ENTRANCE.

Anyway they were at the street and we decided to leave our bike 100 mts from there avoiding these people... it's not about the price, it is because they use to force tourists to pay not been any official regulation there. "

" This beach is untamed. There are limitless possibility for photo-taking enjoying the scenery. People can also surf here. It's a beautiful beach. There are three main beaches, and you can just go anywhere. The only problem is that there are no lifeguards, and it can be really dangerousm I fell and slipped and hurt my toe until it was bleeding there nevertheless it is an experience worthwhile for people daring the risk amongst the moss-covered slippery rocks. You just really have to be careful there, I was lucky that I only hurt a toe, because I could have broken my neck there. "

" Nice spot to see surfers, big waves and just relaxed on the small beach hidden between the rocks. The only thing I don't like is that I had to pay 3k for parking my motorbike. In my opinion there's lots of space to park. I consider it as just a moneymaker. "

" When you are here...you are in BALI! Amazing beach! There is not a word to describe the beauty of this beach. But its very rocky! Warning: to come here you need to be fit. In order to go to this beach, you need to go through very steep stairs and pass a small hole rock at the bottom. The wave is coming in high tide sometimes. Do not go in the evening arround 5 pm as the tide already high. The way back is harder because you need to climb up steep steps. They have beach umbrella for you to rent...around rp. 50.000 an hour...well im a local so i bargained. :) Beer and drinks are sold at the beach, but not food. So carry the necessary stuff. Not recommended if you bring small kids. But other than that...this is a beautiful beach and its one of the best in bali. If you bring a vehicle, park at the top and use stairs to go down. Parking fee only rp. 5,000 local or foreign. "

" The place is good but too much too much too much too much tourists.
It's a pitty cause it change the serinity of the place in something too animated.
Monkeys are really aggressive : they pee on people, bite and steal sun glasses, mobile phone etc. Be careful...
Otherwise nice view for the sunset. "

" Great little spot when it's low tide. Inaccessible during high tide. "

" Lovely beach. DO NOT TRY TO SURF HERE IF YOU'VE NEVER RIDEN A SHORT BOARD OR WAVES HIGHER THAN TWO FEET. Take it from me, it might look calm on the beach, but after getting your feet sliced open during the 100m walk over coral, you'll think twice about riding your first barrel over a razor sharp coral reef. "

" Lovely cliff views, but you can't really see the temple. Was told the sunset here is a must, but other than the pretty cliffs I'm not sure why. Can't actually go into temple area, heavy tourist traffic. Worth going but I might sunset at suluban Beach instead. "

" Very beautiful spot in South Bali, not very far from Kuta and uncomparable to all the beaches around there for its beauty. Go early because the tide will rise at about 3pm and you will have to leave the place. The water is crystal clear, but it's wavy with strong currents, so there is not much space for swimming. Nevertheless it's gorgeous and it's nice to look at surfers who challenge the rough waves in the near spot. Bring water since everything is overpriced and not easy to get. "

" Beautiful view as you go down the cliffs, note that there is no beach during high tide (and a relatively small beach during low tide). Grab a drink at one of the bars on the cliffs. "

" Great Surfer Spot with a bunch of nice bars. No beach for swimming! And be prepared that you pay a lot for transport to get away from there. We just called it the transport mafia ;-) "

" CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
The blue point beach (Uluwatu) is a beautiful place, full of tourists, surfers.... However, in the entrance of this paradise I saw a really disturbing situation of cruelty to animals. In front of GALIH MART there is a cage with two monkeys in. The biggest one was injured, there was a metal wire in his neck penetrating in his flesh. His neck was badly infected. There was no food or water and the temperature yesterday achieved above 30 Celsius. I have been there for the all day and no water or food was provided. It is really disturbing that the person whom is the 'responsible' (according to local people information is the owner of GALIH MART) for those animal was not concerned about their wellbeing. "

" Loved it! So soothing. You need to walk a few rocky stairs to get there but it's totally worth it. Clear waters with occasional viewing of crabs and fishes. Great place for surfers. Also, try the corn being sold near the bike parking area. "

" As the name implies, the water looked blue with small patches of white sandy beach. Blue Point is an amazing hidden beach in Bali. You could reach the beach by climbing down dozen of stairs with lots of bars around. The sunset here is amazing and the waves are good for surfing. Be careful if you want to swim here because the beach is rocky.

Pros:
+ Great sunset view, perfect spot for pre wedding photography
+ Nice wave for surfing
+ There is a cave just before the beach

Cons:
- Lots of stairs to reach the spot, not suitable for older people
- Rocky beach "

" If you're here to surf, this would rate 5 stars. Awesome break and super popular. Unfortunately with only one road in, it's congested and crowded. Get there early to enjoy it best - or stay local. "

" Best place! There are few levels of bars and restaurants on the cliff and then the beach - the part you enter first is tiny, but the locals showed us a beautiful part which is invisible at first, hidden behind the rocks. Stunning! "

" The beach is hidden, lucky me someone told us how to get to the beach. But not advisable for old people because to reach the location is a bit hard with a lot of stairs "

" The view from the cliff all the way to the secluded beach is breathtaking. The natural pool on the beach begs you to take a dip. You have to be there to believe it. Also a great place to surf. "
