" Nice clean hotel and very affordable. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The space in the room was just right, not too big, not too small. It's missing a mirror outside of the bathroom though. Great ambience in the open dining hall. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The swimming pool is not heated but nevertheless beautiful, rightly sized and great for swimming laps. The food from our complimentary breakfast was good. I enjoyed the freshly made customized eggs at the egg station. The bread was not good. The croissants were very hard. Salad dressings were not good too. Overall, the experience was good and enjoyable and value for your money. "

WiFi is too weak and inconsistent.
The noise is very loud from the room above.
No room service! When we called reception to ask they said because we did not put the sign in front of the room to request room service, but no one had told us about that during check in. "

" I went here to visit my newly wed sister in law. They got one of the bigger suites on the top floor and it looked great. Big bathroom, copper tub, roomy shower and a huge bed. The room looked modern, clean and stylish. An ocean view was just possible. There is a big pool with plenty of seating and recliners. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "

" It's a very nice place to stay, located in Seminyak area and the beach is within walking distance (Altho there's shuttle service from hotel to the beach; forgot the hours. sorry).
05 October 2017Hotel facilities are quite basic (i.e. no gym) but the ambiences sorta compensates for it.
24 hrs convenient store is also just across the road in case you need stuff.
Enjoyed the building and interior design quite a lot.
The swimming pool is very cozy, building shades made swimming in noon time bearable. But it still gives you a nice spot to sunbathe and get your tan if that's your thing. The way the building is designed allows cool breeze in the sofa area by the pool even when it's very hot out there.
Room is clean and just nice, pretty much worth the money. But the partition wall is a bit thin and NOT soundproofed. Hotel staff can be a bit slow in responding to your need but they can get it done.
Breakfast is good, their pancake and waffle are my favorite.
In conclusion, it's not perfect but it's a good hotel for the price - and we enjoyed our stay very much. "

" One the plus side the beds are extremely comfortable, the staff are very polite and friendly and the hotel has a very nice design.
01 October 2017On the negative side:
- The sound proofing of the room is poor. We had an adjoining room with another guest which was sealed but offered pretty bad sound insulation and we could hear every cough. The second and third night there was loud stamping upstairs for an hour or so.
- the pool was a bit of a kid zone on 2 of the days with 5-10 kids splashing around but was quiet on the other 2 days
- we saw one of the security guards participating in assisting the local taxi racket where they limit the available taxis in the area to a certain group of drivers so they can charge a higher 'fixed price'. In my opinion security staff should have the guests interests first and this arrangement is a conflict of interest. "

19 July 2017What surprised us was the cafe by the pool served the best food we had in Bali, lol! Couldn't help but had meals there almost everyday. Breakfast spread is really good. Had so much good time in Bali mainly because of this hotel. Can't wait to check in again.

01 April 2017Only thing is that we had the buffet dinner on Thursday night which I think was not satisfying, given the selection is quite little.
Other than that, I would definitely recommend people here if you love a quiet street, 5-10mins walking distance to the Seminyak Beach and shopping street and not forgetting the affordable room rates! "

- You can hear almost everything which happens inside the hotel (thin walls and doors are really bad "noise cancelling")
- architecture made some other stupid mistakes. Everything looks great, but is not made for daily use.

Overall a good experience. We will go there again at the end of our Bali trip 👍👍 "

21 April 2016As a new hotel, everything was in top-notch condition. The hotel was funky and different, and the rooms carried that vibe through. It was tacky and awesome and tasteful all at the same time. Really cool and really unique.
The pool area was awesome to hang out at. Couple it with a really great restaurant and coffee bar (their Americanos were delicious) run by some of the most genuine staff I've ever met, and you've got yourself an environment you really don't need to leave.
Tijili offers a beach buggy shuttle service, though I'm not sure why anyone would use it considering the beach (and in my opinion, the best part of the beach) is only a 5-10 minute walk from door to water. Late nights were no problem walking back.
I'm not sure they'd want me to advertise it, but the staff hooked us up with a motorbike rental - even going to lengths to ensure we had a road-worthy motorbike at a fair price. The staff sent back the first bike that was brought to us in favor of a better newer model. Awesome.
Highly recommended. Keep up the outstanding service, Tijili. We loved our stay. "
