" The Griya Sanur isn't too bad for what you pay. Maybe it doesn't deserve a 2 star review.Was thinking about giving it 3 until I was leaving and saw that all the employees blocked my bike in with theirs. For as many tourists that come to Bali, I don't understand how so many hotel staff still don't get hospitality.
20 July 2017The rooms were fine, very plain, but relatively clean. They are a bit worn, but the bed was comfortable and the shower very strong. I stayed 2 nights and couldn't sleep either night due to all the mosquitos in my room. Got eaten alive. For that reason alone, I wouldn't stay here again.
The staff seemed nice, though I would have appreciated them asking me how my stay was when I checked out.
The hotel has excellent access and is easy to find, but it's on the wrong side of the bypass to access the beach. I wouldn't cross it with a family.
The Griya is not a place to hang out. It just serves as a place to sleep for the night and unfortunately, because of the bugs, I didn't get much of that. "

" We are trying to budget and we decided to go spend a little extra and get this room because we were so exhausted carrying our bags on our bikes from the airport area we just wanted to rest and cut out looking around too much. We got to our room and it looked great nice and clean and had big windows out to a beautiful pool area . We don't normally care about a tv but we were paying for it and it didn't even work. The wifi was out and we got the room also so we could plan our next route using the Internet. We got up early and went to desk and they appologized . Didn't do anything about tv and said by 8am - it was 6 at the time .. The restaurant would have active wifi we could use . Overall the point is we have had better experience at a place half the price . We were just expecting better service for the money. Maybe just came on the wrong night . My boyfriend also started getting sick the night after we left .. Not knowing forsure if it was from their food or not.. Can not say. "
