" No wonder why the reviews for this resort are so positive...My wife and I just spent a week there and were blown away by the sheer beauty of this place. It’s awe inspiring. The service is absolutely top notch. Their car service is a bit expensive (e.g. $60 USD ride to airport, one way), but you can simply hire your own driver for much cheaper. Eating everyday at the restaurant in the middle of the rice fields is an experience I won’t forget. The rooms feel a tad older than the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons, but they are very clean. We will definitely go back. "

23 May 2018Absolutely top notch experience top to bottom. As you arrive to the grounds, it is like entering a fantasy world. It's all lush, green, perfectly manicured. You're met with a drink and cool towels at check in. But the real distinguished aspect is that you get your own Butler for the duration of your stay. This person will arrange anything you need- food, a ride into town, tours, etc. Ours new every detail of our itinerary at check in, including the cooking class we had booked, the romantic rice paddy dinner, and the traditional Balinese dance we had planned (all of which take place at this resort). We got a private pool villa and the room is fantastic. Large, but Comfortable and not too modern (and impersonal) feeling. The A/C works well. The food we had from room service and at the restaurant were outstanding. "

" My wife and I stayed at the Chedi Club Tanah Gajah for six days in February. The hotel consists of private villas set in beautifully maintained grounds surrounded by organic rice paddies. Our villa was spacious, elegant and quite our own. The staff was remarkably gracious and attentive and the food was absolutely first rate. Our private butler, Bawa, made sure to see that we had everything we wanted and offered welcome suggestions for things we could see and do. His warmth and thoughtfulness added enormously to our sense of comfort and our experience of peaceful spirit of Bali. "

" This is the sort of place you want to book again as soon as you leave. The perfect service is a difficult art. Personal but not too obvious. Adapted to each guests and their purpose. This place just entered the list of places I could book instantly if I get days off and reasonable flight deal. There is only one other place on that list. "

Delicious custom breakfasts, tea at the pool side, cocktails for Sunset and the perfect intimate villa made our stay here unforgettable.
This was not our Honeymoon but it did feel like it. My girlfriend loved the morning Yoga class and I had a great time on the walking tour around the rice fields and the surrounding area done by our butler.
We highly recommend this place and we look forward to stay at Chedi again when we return to Bali "
