" Certainly at lunchtime, if you like a procession of Chinese package tourists being fed hot chips while they play videos games on their phones, then this is the place for you. The outlook is undoubtedly beautiful but the vibe is lacking and the food, whilst reasonably, is hardly a bargain (but everything on Lembongan is understandably slightly more than the mainland) . Sorry, but we would not return. "

" Fabulous location, especially in the evening at sunset. Incredible number of food options on the menu, both Asian/Indonesian and Western. We had an assortment of both and all were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was awesome as well with good tunes playing and the decor. Very laid back. I highly recommend this place. "

" This is a lovely spot. I live a short distance from here and often call in for a nice cold beer. The food is of a good standard for this style of place. It is a small restaurant overlooking the strait between Lembongan and Ceningan Islands. All in all it is a pleasant place to visit. "

" Only complaint is they somehow made a pizza with too much cheese! Beautiful spot and tons of seating with a lovely view of the water. I was there at sunset and it was lovely. Great service, very friendly. Prices are a bit high. "

" My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Tawe’s beach bar. We tried a couple of food items from their menu over the days that we were on the island and they were all delicious! (Sea food, Steak, chicken, pastas, pizzas, nachos and traditional food all so flavorful) I was really surprised at how good the selection was and my compliments to the chef. The staff were very good, atmosphere inviting and chilled, and the prices great. All in all a sensational experience. Thank you Tawe! "

" I LOVE THIS PLACE! When we came to Bali for our vacation, this was by far the best restaurant we went to. The food was great and the view is amazing. The staff seemed very happy and wanted us to have a good experience. Every place we went on the island had servers who really didn't speak English, which is to be expected in Bali in general, let alone a tiny island. However, at Tawe Warung they had one staff member who spoke great English and the other servers who didn't speak the language quite as well as him were very obviously trying to learn by kind of following and listening to him. Very impressive! It certainly made our experience a lot easier. The top it off, the final morning of our trip we decided to try their breakfast and they had the BEST coffee and really tasty entrees. Top notch place! "

" This place is outstanding! While visiting Bali, we ate at several restaurants on the main island and Lembongan- and Tawe was by far the best. I was initially excited to try Mama Mia's nextdoor (which was decent), but can get pretty busy at night. We were skeptic at first on whether to avoid the crowd at Mama Mia's because Tawe was empty... But it was the best decision we made on our vacation. Do not be afraid to go there if no one is there and it's busy nextdoor. We ended up eating there 3 times and each time were blown away by the food and drinks. No matter what you're hungry for, they have something you'll love and will exceed your expectations.
14 May 2017Skip breakfast at your huts/villa and come here for the best coffee (brewed, not instant), fresh juice, bloody mary's, sausage, bacon, eggs, fruit, and VIEW. The lunch and dinner options were equally excellent, I just wish we had more time to sample their menu. Great food, drinks, view, friendliest staff you'll meet in Bali, inexpensive and easy to find/access.

" This restaurant is away to expenses for the quality. Noodles tasted boring. Gado-Gado with only one little spoon of peanut sauce and a full plate of dry vegetables?? For 50k ? Crazy!!! This place doesn't worth the money. "

" Waited 90minutes on a plate of fresh fruit, while my mom got a plate of grilled seafood which was super cold and my brother had a club sandwich with really old and hard bread... Staff is super slow as well! Dont recommend this place at all, there are so many good restaurants nearby, dont waste your time. "
