" Very nice museum about Bali geological origins. Free entrance. You can easily spent some hours here and get a good understanding about the vulcanoes, flora and fauna and the people. The only problem is that the connection between the museum and the field sites is not good. It would be recommended that the museum develops a brochure that clearly shows the fieldsites so you can easily find them. "

" It's a great place to learn the geological formation of Bali's volcanoes and the surroundings islands. Even the not so enthusiastic ones were drawn in to read and watch the documentaries. IMHO, one of the must visit to truly know Bali "

" The museum it's self is very fascinating and a great idea for the locals and tourists alike who are looking for a bit more information on the massive volcanoes surrounding Indonesia.

The only issue - there's A LOT that's not in English. In many of the exhibits there are masses of test in Balinese and only a few short sentences in English.

While we couldn't completely comprehend the details, it's a free museum and the photos and videos demonstrations are nice. They give you an idea of how MASSIVE Batur used to be and how everything became the way that it is.

I say its worth a stop by for 1.5 hours if you are in the area. As far as we know it was free to park. "

" I went there 5 years ago and I like it a lot. Went there again beginning of year 2018. A lot of improvement on display, a lot more educational material, but need to improve on staff, cleanliness, and landscaping of the yard area. Should be a really awesome place for kids, but need improvement on these things, especially cleanliness. "

" This place is a museum, a vulcano museum at that. You will learn a lot about vulcano, especially you're very near to one, that erupted back in the 80s. It is free and usually quiet so you can relax and just read on. It is airconned too:) "

" A great place to have family or school trip. They're totally free, no admission nor even parking fee. You can learn about many things from nature to socio culture.

The toilets are not well maintained, a bit dirty and no tissue available.

No crowd at all, i think they need more publication "
