Awesome herb and spicy sambal pastes. The babi guling dish had sliced meat, satay, caramelized crackling and crispy intestines. The ayam bertutu was a succulent feast with the meat easily separated from bones. Lovely restaurant with a relaxed ambience paired with good food and drinks. "

" Such a disappointment! We had read so much about this, but it ended up being a total flop. The Chicken Noodle Soup and Vegetable Noodle Soup was basically noodles out of a packet, served in boiled water. The Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) had literally 1 shrimp in it. It needed heaps of spice and salt. It was just bland! The staff acted like they were doing us a favor by serving us. One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Doesn't deserve even one star. "

" If there were zero stars I would have rated this restaurant zero. Among the 19 meals we had across bali this would be the the worst. The food had no flavour and the portions were small. The chicken soup had exactly 2 pieces of shredded chicken and the Mi goreng was cold and had 1 tiny shrimp and 3 pieces of chicken. We told the waitress that the food was cold and she took the plate away and brought it back just as cold as before.We did not order more and left. A really bad food experience. "

" Wonderful Indonesian food and western/Italian on the menu if that is what you prefer. If you want real Local dishes, good service and reasonable prices then this is a must visit. Drinks were just a little more expensive than other local places. We like it spicy and so chose dishes that were (chilli rating printed on the menu) and we were not disappointed. Delicious and we will be back. Like allot of places in Bali, there is only natural ventilation so in summer it is warm but comfortable. If this was cooler and more upmarket in the fitout then it would be 5 stars. Basic facilities, clean bathrooms, but that is not what it is about - the food is why you go here. "

I've been here several times in two different outlets. The one in Seminyak is the one I visited most especially when I travel with groups due to its large capacity. But remember, parking might be difficult. If you come with big buses, bus can not stop long to drop off and pick up.
There's performance of Balinese traditional dance during dinner time.
Taste wise, it may not be the best. Price wise, it may be pricey. But, hey, it might be Bali's most famous Warung (restaurant). "

The price is cheap/average and they have good portions.

Update: gave this 3 stars because I tried other times on the menu, Do not try the lamb chops they are hard as a rock and don't taste good at all, I tried the Italian steak which is basically the same tender steak used with "Italian sauce" which is bland, there are no spices on the steak and it was flavorless. Also the steak is very tiny and doesn't fill me up, and I have a pretty small stomach. "

I thought it was delicious and the amount was just right. It also was a lot spicier than I had anticipated, which was a welcome surprise. You may still want to take your tourists friends there, but the food is barely ok, the service is close to awful (it's normal if you guys don't eat or sometimes even drink at the same time at your table) with the same old touristic 'Balinese show' to watch if you get a table close to the stage.

The local band that work there after 9pm is often quite good. Add 2-3 Bintang draft and with a little evening breeze it's pleasant.
Anyway, honestly, you want good food or a real Balinese place, do not hesitate: go somewhere else. "

" We came here for breakfast and ordered an ice cappucino with our meal. The drinks took forever to come,and when it did, my ice cappuccino tasted like ice cream, not coffee. So I asked for a black coffee instead, and the waitress was very rude, saying, you ordered ice cappuccino, it has sugar and milk. And told her nicely it was too sweet, so she angrily took it away without listening to my new order of black coffee. The next waiter brought me an ice coffee with milk, and I said, I asked for a black coffee, and he took it away. Next another waiter came to ask me what I ordered and what I want. She was also rude and walked away. 30 minutes later, my drink never came. They ignored us for the rest of the breakfast. It really ruined the start of my day and I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. There are so many delicious eateries in seminjak, go to one with good customer service!!!! "
