" Dewangga Bungalow offers a peaceful retreat amidst lush tropical gardens, a 3-minute walk from Ubud Palace. Featuring an art gallery, outdoor pool and a restaurant, it provides sightseeing arrangements, Tai Chi and cooking classes. Wi-Fi access is free throughout.

The sacred Monkey Forest is a 5-minute stroll from Dewangga Bungalow, while Ngurah Rai International Airport is 2 hours’ drive away. Various dining options are within walking distance of the property.

Cooled by a fan or air conditioning, each Balinese-style room has a seating area, writing desk and a wardrobe. Guests can lounge on the private terrace or balcony while enjoying views of the greenery. Free toiletries are provided in the en suite bathrooms. "

" Beautiful gardens with a nice pool and modern rooms in a very central location.
The rooms however were not clean (e.g. the bath was very sandy and one of the towels had blood stains all over, when we asked for fresh ones, one of them was again dirty and the decorating pillows had clearly never been washed (the sleeping pillows were clean)).
The staff was friendly but very badly organised. We had been promised scooters for two days but then they were suddenly "finished" so we didn't get any. A booked dance class in the hotel was not organised and I never heard of it again, it just didn't take place. The breakfast had to be ordered the evening before and in the morning again, because the information did not reach the restaurant.
They had trouble keeping the cold water and the electricity running and there was just one plug in the bedroom. The lights next to the beds had no electricity, the wires just led into nowhere behind the bed.
Overall no good value-for-money. "

" Pro's:

Great location, in the center of Ubud. Big rooms with air-conditioning, and a nice view from the balcony. A nice pool also, with a beautiful garden surrounding it.

Cons:
Very weak shower, no fridge. "

" It is okay - clean, quiet, and air conditioned. But the phrase 'polished turd' springs to mind. Customer service was mediocre, there was no TV, fridge, or breakfast included, which is surprising considering the price. Wifi was pitiful in our roo. But might have been better elsewhere. The tap was broken and kept twisting around, the furniture is cheap and possibly assembled by a child, there were two plug sockets in thw whole room, of which only one worked. The funniest thing was the bulbless bedside lamp - when I procured a bulb so that we could use it, there was no plug socket we could use, so it was a totally pointless bit of decoration really. Style over substance! However, it does have a collection of rather filthy Balinese paintings and carvings that are worth a look! "

" Lovely accommodation. The setting is beautiful, with well tended gardens all around the bungalows and then pool. The rooms are homely and whilst the interior is quite simple, it's very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. All for an affordable price. "
