" This shop is very small, and the Black Forest cake was delicious. The shop has 2 stories. Tables and chairs for visitors on the top floor, and only 2 chairs and a table on the ground level. This store had great reviews on TripAdvisor and it was worth the visit. The Black Forest cake was made with good quality cream and ingredients. It's a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's actually quite difficult to find small cakes made to such a high level of refinement in Australia. Therefore, it's actually amazing what this little shop in Ubud (Indonesia) is able to produce. I will definitely return to this store if I get another chance to visit Ubud. "

" Caramel came highly recommended by Trip Advisor as one of the top 10 dessert venues in Ubud. It came as no surprise as to the varied offering and high quality. But it was the affordable price points that made our afternoon tea even sweeter. The seating upstairs is comfortable and cool and eating in costs less than takeaways. Take a break and have some treats. There's always time for cake. "

" Air con! And great deserts and cakes. Good juices.
05 April 2018We were on our way to the Ubud markets and stopped in here as it’s one of the few places with Aircon. It was however well worth the stop. Amazing cakes, smoothies and juices.
Great view from upstairs, watching the people go by but not air con’d upstairs but open air and had a nice breeze.
Would well recommend stopping in for a Cake Pop or desert. "

" Amazing deserts and yummy coffee. I tried chocolate mousse, thousand layers butter cake, ice-cream and many more haha Long black coffee and cold brew are super tasty. Check out the upstair terrace, it's so chilled so sit down, enjoy your coffee and cake and watch the world go by. "

" Favorite dessert place in Ubud. Check out their tropical tiramisu and their chocolate mousse when going there! For lunch or dinner I recommend to check out Black Beach, an Italian restaurant right across the street. "

" discovered this place a couple of years ago, happy to see (taste) they maintain the quality.
21 July 2017Superior, by far the best in Bali, and one of the best bakeries I've been ever. don't miss their tropical tiramisu! it's a real sweet tooth orgasm!! their macarons are really good, loved all the flavors, particularly the black sesame, salted caramel and the passion fruit ones. my daughter, as an expert in red velvet cakes, thought it was one of the best she's tried. hope to be back soon! "

" Got the red velvet cake and cake pop and they were good. Would have been a whole lot better had they used thick cream cheese frosting and it the cake was a little more dense. The nuts on top of the cake was a little weird too. "

" Yummy cakes and nice latte!! It came in cute packaging also, my first latte came in cute jar! "

" They use bamboo straws which is great. They feel nice (but you might want to give them a wipe inside before you use them). They sell them too. The black forest is good. The coconut water is served with fresh mint which tastes delicious ! So fresh. "

" Really nice place to come to and relax for a while. We enjoyed our drinks but the desserts weren't as good as we expected them to be. "

" Bought 2 panacotta's from them.
24 May 2017OMG they were amazing. Been going back every time we are in Ubud.
Will go back again this week if I can convince the wife. Lol... "

" Good looking place with amazing deserts for a reasonable price (+- RM35-50).
14 April 2017They have a lot of deserts and they all look so freakishly good that it is hard to choose! Ended up getting 3 different desert for the two of us and they were all amazing.
Really recommend the macarrons, specially the peanut butter one! "

" Tasty desserts with good coffee and juices! 2 MBit wifi, you can sit upstairs. "
05 April 2017Monica Octaviani
" Small place but neat. The dessert options are so hard to choose. They all look mouth watering. Tried chocolate panacota when I came. Good things: price include tax & you can sit upstairs to get better view. Bye bye broken heart, say hello to dessert! "

" The best desserts in bali that I have tried to date. Prices are good also. A rare combination. "

" Hidden gem! I was on my way walking back to hotel and discovered this place accidentally. Ordered coffee jelly tiramisu and mint ice tea. Absolutely perfect match! Unique decoration and view from top to street, definitely a good place to have me time. Fantastic place. "

" Small, quaint. Great coffee! It's great at what it is - pastries and coffee. Don't expect anything else, but if that's what you're going for - with a small space and a nice view of the street from above, you'll be happy! A lot of restaurants in Ubud use Caramel for their deserts as well, so you know they're good! "

" Great little patisserie in Ubud. Surprisingly good desserts (after being let down too many times by desserts in SE Asia.)
27 August 2016Everything looks amazing and you can sit upstairs and just watch down on the street. "
Alena Aktuganova
" The best apple pie in Ubud! ;) "
17 August 2016Andreas Tan
" We brought back apple and cinnamon pie, chocolate pie and milk pie. Not sure if the names are correct. The apple pie was fresh but the crust was not tasty. As such it was overwhelm by the taste of cinnamon. Milk pie (which was the 2nd last piece in the shop) may have been sitting in the fridge for a long time. It absorbed the smell of the fridge. Milk custard was kind of dry up on top as well. "

" High quality cakes but not much place to sit and enjoy them, perfect for take away! "

" The Macarons are a must try & yummy cakes.
22 September 2015Lovely small place on the second floor , don't expect big place like Seminyak.
Go there for the high quality products & enjoy the breeze of wind. "
Alan Fregtman
" Delicious, exotic macaroons! And you have to try their "high tea" experience. The sweet treats were better here than in The Ritz afternoon tea in London! :) "

" These guys are GREAT. I have used them twice. The first time was for my wedding cake Aug 2014. We worked together to come up with the idea. I wanted a cake that people would tell me "that was the best cake I have EVER had" and 3 people came up to me at the reception and told me that. The 2nd time was for my birthday and they made my family traditional cake: devil's food chocolate with dark chocolate icing. It was perfect and really made me feel like home. They are more expensive than other places. but that is because they use the very best high quality ingredients. For my wedding they added a liqueur to it! They also make other yummy deserts so stop by their shop and check them out. "
