" Good coffee, cozy place, good price, friendly staffs. The smoking area is on the outside, the table was a little dusty cause this place is exactly facing the main road, but when I sit on the table the staff was quickly clean it up. You can take away your leftover meals and drinks too if you want — just asked the staff they’ll wrap them for you: for free. "

" Last time i was there really DISAPPOINTED
25 April 2018moka is one of my favourite place to eat when i am in Bali. I always bring my friends, my client to eat here, they always served good foods when i was with friends especially white people. Last time i was there on 18 April 2018 i ordered 1 young coconut only and its came in a very poor service of a lazy staff, normally they decorate the coconut and give me straw and spoon so i can eat the coconut flesh but last time my coconut served with a small hole enough to put the straw and no spoon, i was struggling to get my favourite part of the coconut because the hole was to small, i rate this service as a very poor service even worse than eating coconut on the beach. Mostly waiter in Bali is rasist including in Moca, they don't really understand what is HOSPITALITY, they always nice with tourist but not local, this is obviously an unfair service just because i am a local. Do you think that when i come to your restaurant i get cheaper price than a tourist ? No i pay same price including tax and service so why i should received different service ? Someone please explain "

" Comfort food from home AND great local Indonesian food.
16 March 2018We fell in love with Mie Goreng during our 2 month stay in Bali, and Cafe Moka was one of our favorite places to get it at!
The portions are great and the quality is high, so we don't mind paying a more 'western' price for it compared to local warungs.
It's also nice to grab a dessert or a treat from their big selection of cakes/pies/bakery.
Free wifi and awesome location. There is outdoor patio seating in front of the restaurant or air conditioned seating inside. Bathroom is clean and nice! "

" Went there every day for breakfast. Coffee is excellent and their croissants are fresh and perfect, especially when compared to what we get in Australia. The eggs benedict is satisfying served on sour dough toast not brioche. "

06 August 2017Among the best breakfast solutions in Bali
A lot of other breakfast places have been open .. but if Moka would lower a little bit the prices they would get back straight to he number 1 solution in Seminyak
Staff nice and friendly ! "

" I have had coffee, and then I have had good coffee and also great coffee, but the coffee in Cafe Moka is beyond comparison. I have come here for breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and treats and each time, the service and quality of food remains top notch. Highly recommend their dark chocolate truffles. Deeeeeelishhhhhhh.... with coffee or as a treat. Highly recommend. "

" One of the best place to get viennoiserie in Bali.
21 November 2016They have been here for a long time and the quality never change
I also love their homemade jam (not the one they sell on counter. You need to specifically ask for it) "

" We came here for lunch on our first day over, and it was really good. There's a selection of foods in the front counters, or off the menu. We got one of each & enjoyed them both.

" Almost regular for breakfasts and (late) lunches. Love almost all of the menus, just right for the flour-fans. Don't order the nasi goreng though. Street hawker's fried rice tastes better. Free breads when you order coffee. Price a bit on the expensive side. "
12 January 2016Felicity Heinrich
" Great refreshing stop. Yummy Iced Cafe Lattes and they have decaf. "
15 October 2015Lisa Sutherland-Fraser
" Cafe Moka's (one in Ubud as well) are fabulous cool little Euro style cafés with lots of lovely stuff to eat & drink. "

" No idea how this place has gotten so many good reviews. I stayed just down the Gang at an apartment and so frequented here many times over a few weeks. Every single item I tried was a disappointment. Such as...
25 November 2014Omelette was no omelette. Closer to a Fritata or "egg pancake" than any omelette, and bland despite added ingredients.
Chicken burger was...I don't know how to say this, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't chicken. It certainly didn't taste the part. Think the ground up assorted "meat" inside a Chicken McNugget and that's a good start. The bun was impossibly dry and anything but fresh. Also coated in some sort of sweet/spicy sauce to try and disguise it's awfulness. Look up EatWELL just up the street if you want an okay burger.
Almond croissant? Entirely over baked. No almond filling at all. Just a few almond slices on top buried in powdered sugar. Lots of options around here for better.
Fajitas? Minimal steak. Ingredients were definitely not fresh. Overpriced for quantity of food alone, let alone quality.
Americano/Long Black? Meh. This is the one thing I ordered frequently only because few places serve one worth talking about in Bali. Look up Anomoli Coffee also just up the street for a far better espresso.
I'm fairly confident that the only reason this place continues to get business is because they not only have air conditioning, but they also close the doors, unlike most places nearby it. Hence, it's much cooler and frequented by plenty of tourists, and thus the reason this place has so many more reviews than most places in Bali...tourists, with better smart phones than most locals, and hence Google Maps "
