" If you want a complete escape with great amenities then this hotel is for you! Staff are excellent and rooms are nice and tidy. We had dinner at their restaurant and the food was really good! Approximately 20mins away from central Ubud. This is by far the best hotel during our stay in Bali and with a not so expensive price tag to boot. "

23 April 2018We went there for our honeymoon. They provide villas with a huge luxury room with amazing interiors. Private pool is attached to the room with a bed besides it and view to paddy fields. Bathroom is equipped with a bathtub which is a little small in size but overall bathroom is luxury. Has a separate shower room.
Service is 11/10 :D. Just like it is anywhere in Bali. People are very friendly and their top priority is to keep you happy and give you an amazing experience.
Food is also pretty good. Definitely try the pesto pasta when you are here. The whole resort is based in Buddhist culture and is very peaceful. You get bicycles to roam around the area. You also get a great foot massage free with the room.
And it's very cheap in around 5000 INR per day. "

" Nice villa. But it gives too much privacy which I did not enjoyed. The pool was not clean up to the mark. Insects very around the pool. Restaurant is good. Ambience is good. If want to relax, go for villa. If you want to rock and relax, go for a resort. "

" The resort has recently completed a year and we have to say that it has a very picturesque location with each room having a private pool with the view of the paddy fields in front. The rooms are also bigger with a full bathroom along with a bathtub and shower. The toilet is also a very intelligent and water saving eco-toilet. The waiting area houses lots of artifacts and items of art which bring you in awe of Indonesian art and culture. The dining area gives you options of dining in together with other guests as well as a private area if you're concious while eating or just want to enjoy your privacy. The food served at breakfast was very delicious even though I ordered an American breakfast. They have free Yoga classes at 7 in the morning. Also they have a good Spa but I couldn't get to experience it as I was there for just a night. In all the staff is very pleased and passionate about their guests. It makes me come back again here next year. In all a very very good experience. "

" Very friendly staff and well appointed rooms. The breakfast overlooking the rice field was a treat. The Villa private pool was a little cold for night swimming, but a pleasure during the day. A great outlook from every Villa. Aside from the usual Indonesian misunderstandings my only gripe is that the walls seemed a little thin and you could hear your neighbours. Other than that, all good, I would go back there. "

" Very nice and peaceful place. In breakfast, you will get many options and they can also customize the dishes as per your requirement. Service was excellent and the staff was really polite.

Only bad thing is that you can found some lizards and mosquitoes in the surrounding as the place is very near to the rice fields. "

30 June 2017Very disappointed with my stay in Alam puisi villa. The interior is very bad, dirty curtains, bedsheets and towels. I have a skin rashes possibly from bed bugs. The lighting in the room was very dull. I was expecting it to have a nice lush green rice fields view but unfortunately no good view.
The only good thing I experienced was very helpful and polite staff.
I definitely don't recommend this place for its value. "

" A very peaceful, quiet and clean place away from the city and traffic and beside the rice fields with all the luxury and amenities available. Beautiful and spacious rooms and bathroom, great restaurant, a very helpful and generous staff, always smiling and there to assist with anything. Great service and lot of activities. The spa was great and the Yoga class in the morning too. We had one of our best times here enjoying at the private poolside, reading, listening to music, chatting and eating. The hotel even provides bikes on rent and bicycles for free so you can go out at leisure. Overall we had a 5 star experience. "

" The rooms were spatious and clean, the service was excellent and the staff were really polite and helpful. The room had a private pool with a limited view of the rice fields. For the curious one, you can always explore around the resort or a bit away for a beautiful view of the starry sky (which is also possible by the pool area with the lights turned off). The food is so-so and the prices are higher than in Ubud city but it's definitely worth having a candle light dinner by the small huts and the staff more than compensate this. The staff is really attentive to your needs and the spa has really skillful masseurs but it costs more than in the city. The resort is also helpful in organizing a guide and your own car for the entire day for a fairly reasonable price (from 525k to 700k rupiah). Overall an excellent retreat! "

The way the villa and hotel is built, we weren't even impacted at all when it was raining a lot.
The villa provides also good breakfasts, lunch and diners, and a central swimming pool and place to relax, and you can also walk or bike through the rice fields. "

" My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Alam Puisi. We had a room with a balcony which was brand new and spotless with a nice large shower. Water pressure was awesome. However, we found out upon arrival our room was in a spectate section of the resort across the street from the main reception desk area. The two sections of the resort had two separate restaurants and reception desks. We would have liked a more seamless service experience. The restaurant in our section did not have the same breakfast or alcohol selection. We would have appreciated being informed of this instead of being told several things on the menu were not available when in fact they were available across the street and guests could order there instead. We really liked the shuttle to downtown Ubud especially since taxi drivers overcharge tourists for rides. The free yoga class was awesome. "

" I had the wonderful pleasure of staying at Alam Puisi Villa in December 2014. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We stayed in 4 different places while visiting Bali, I wish we stayed here the entire time. The service was one of a kind-- super personal and friendly. Food options were reasonably priced, and most of all, very delicious! They have bikes in good condition to borrow for free. It's right next to serene rice paddy fields. They have ducks. The massages are top quality, both in ambiance and skill of the masseurs. They have free yoga in the mornings. Breakfast was included, and not just a crappy continental buffet, but you got to order from the menu for free. We did the cooking class which included a trip to the market which was insightful and fun. And now my wife makes these dishes at home. By the end, we loved the staff and they loved us. They all came out to hug us goodbye when we left. 11/10 would return again. "
